Hands down, my favorite release of the year. It’s such a fun piece to have in the collection and is really well done. I remember seeing the rumors of this either late last year or early this year popping up on a random Australian site and was extremely excited. Definitely worth the wait through the year and glad to have it now.

I have no idea why it took Hasbro this long to make this. It's a pretty simple creature to make. That being said, there are many more things we need like swoop bikes and Mandalorian starfighters.

I think this is Hasbro testing the waters in terms of making creatures in TVC. Over the past year they’ve been building up the creature selection first with simple inarticulate props like the Loth Cat, then with a little more articulation with the Massiff, now proper articulation with the Blurrg. I imagine if this is successful (and it sure seems successful) that we will be getting much more creatures in TVC. But that may be why it’s taken them so long to do relatively simple things, as the team may have needed these test runs to justify the cost of doing larger creature figures.

I know folks like to complain, but sheesh TVC fans eating well recently: Jabba, the Blurrg, Sabine 2 pack, Cobb Vanth, apparently the Armourers forge is shipping soon and the imperial hallway all to come. I wish some of this product came out earlier in the year, Hasbro just can't seem to time stuff out properly. Oh, and Haslab backers are getting the Ghost soon also.

Waiting on the Ghost to arrive before pre-ordering a "larger" item at the moment. You saved me money on Cobb Vanth, but now I'm coming down with Blurrg Fever! And now that we have a Blurrg there are other options along with Kuiil, Cham Syndulla from Rebels (I hope the Blurrg can fit in The Ghost like it is said to do for the Razor Crest).

I just got my two Blurrgs today. They are superb. It took 39 years to get this awesome walking fish looking guy, since I first saw it in 1985 in the Ewoks: The Battle For Endor TV movie. (40th anniversary next year.) Now if Faloni could use that big rat creature from that same movie, so we could get a toy of that as well. This is the way.

I really hope the TVC community come out and show support for this creature. We asked for it for years and Hasbro finally delivered and it looks wonderful! We should at least buy one of these guys full price if we act like clearance vultures for this release we can kiss further creatures in TVC goodbye. I picked this set up from Gamestop last night and I'm very impressed with it. But I don't really want to open the Mando figure, because it just looks so nice on that cardback. But then I realized that I can just display the Blurrg with my Ewoks (since this creature first appeared in the Battle for Endor TV movie) and I don't really need the Mandalorian figure for that at all. So, for now, I'm leaving Mando on the card; but that might change later.

I am genuinely thrilled for all the folks that got this figure! However, I think I’m good on it.. yes it has great purpose for several scenes throughout the media canon, but considering that now there’s so much media canon, these relatively small scenes make it’s a tough sell for me. My mentality in essence: the Razorcrest got blown up, so why buy it? Blurrg scenes were essentially minor scenes, so I’m chilling. If anything, I’m more jealous of the original armor Mando.
