+Jorge Escudero i think because he was clearly on the strip when he made the initial pull, but when he got back on balance most people missed that he moved his foot off the back line

@@CyrusofChaos They should insert a system like var to protect absolute correctness, the coach should be able to call the replay if it escapes the judge, I believe it is correct to insert this measure.

manuel pellegrino the coach can tell the athlete to do it. Also thks is a pretty cut and dry example but where does that stop? If you think there was covering target are you allowed to call a replay under your "absolute correctness" rule? What about right of way calls? But you're missing the basic point here which is that NOBODY noticed this. The refs, the fencers, the audience, the coaches
