So I have a Story to share that I don't think Anyone else has. So Between this song I So Loved& their Other spin off song: My Destination, I Decided If I Ever had a Daughter one day( already had 2 Sons by then) I Wanted to Name Her Destiny.... Bc Destiny & My Destination means the same. And the First 5 Letters of the world Spelled out Destin & I added a Y. Destiny... I Did finally get to have a Daughter named Destiny. She was My Last of 4 Beautiful Children God blessed me with. 2 boys& 2 girls & God has 2 of my other children in heaven... So 4 living children. My Destiny is turning 31 this yr. Day before Christmas eve. Nickname her My Angel. Bc she was My Christmas Angel. Beautiful to this day .... Amanda & My Destination are Such Beautiful songs to me. Touched My heart Deeply. Still does at age 53. I was Just 15 yrs old when it came out. I was so moved by them both. I Was listening to the Radio Driving by myself, Blasting the music 🎵 🎶 🎵 🎵 🎵 🎵 & it was 1990 ,at Night. And It just Hit me. I wanted a little girl, So i could & Someone She'd Fall in love with when she grows up could say: She's My Destiny..... Corny, I know. But I've never regretted it and she loves her name. Now she has three beautiful children of her own. Well I hope someone out there likes my story. Yes I broke my heart when I found out that the lead singer to Boston end up killing himself. Play broke my heart still does. But I definitely understand depression.So Sad... I love All 4 of my children. Destiny was My Second Daughter.& Last baby I had. So I was Destined to have My Precious Destiny.... I had My Destiny 7 years after their songs came out. Better late than Never. Lol. Anyways, I thought it be kinda cool to share my story. Only Child I named Inspired my a Song. PS: My First Daughters Name is: Melody. Music lover Yes. But she was Named after her Aunt Melody. So it Works both ways lol. Rest of My kids names were normal. Lol.
