I keep listening to this show and the more I listen the more amazing I think it was. It's easy to say something is the greatest ever b/c of recency bias. But man, starting at 10:50 through the end of that hold...it's incredible, haunting and breathtaking. Working through the chord resolution at 11:16 they almost take you to another world for a brief moment. LOL, I re-read all that and I sound like a crazy person...but still...

this show suffers so much from aimless design, especially in the middle movements. The ballad coming right after the opener kills all the momentum and energy they just built. Just grinds to a screeching halt. Could’ve been so much more, in my opinion. The opener and closer are so fantastic

Maybe, but it follows the story of paradise lost. I don't love the ballad but if you look at the source material it wouldn't have made sense for them to do anything else

DRUM corp international, is the word drum not in DCI? It's really cool the drums get to shine in this show in a really cool way with such aggressive way. I think it deserved 2nd as it wasn't as clean but in my mind it's for sure 1st.

And the bluecoats played maybe two sections of difficult music the entire show and their leg shape was atrocious. What’s your point? Everyone can point out criticisms of every corps. This show definitely deserved to medal.

You can’t be serious. Boston’s brass book was really hard at times. The coupe walk at the end and trumpet solo going south in finals were literally the only two major flaws I’ve seen in this show this season. Boston definitely deserved 2nd, they brought a power house show that will be remembered for many years to come.
