Been a fan since 1967 (Thank you #4!) and this team is truly special. Say the right things in the l-room, play the right way, and for each other like no team I've ever seen. Not a big fan of sentiment, but as season wears on, I do believe they are playing for #37, the greatest captain in any sport, ever! Go B's!!

They will lose in the second round. They are a soft team who needed a coach to baby them and they collapsed the first time any pressure was on at all. There is nothing special about this tea at all. It's the same team from last year and the year before and the year before.

BERGERON, that name sends shivers down my spine when the stadium announcer calls it. Congratulations Bergy! My memory: My then second division team from Dortmund, Germany back in the 90s also had its Bergeron, Martin from Verdun, Quebec. Drafted by the New York Rangers in Round 5 #99 overall in 1988, he played in the IHL and AHL and then went to Europe. In Dortmund he scored 83 goals and 196 points in 77 games over two seasons. Today he is head coach of the Swiss team HC Tramelan. Just a coincidence of the same name, of course. But I will never forget what it was like when the stadium announcer, as is customary in Germany, gave his first name (in French pronunciation) and 5,000 spectators shouted "BERGERON"

@@iceman.46 Indeed it was! An old, cold as hell stadium, open on two sides, and instead of plexiglass iron grids behind the goals. The opponents' knees were already shaking when stepping on the ice :-) We had two other 'warhorses' from Canada, mind you in the 2nd division: Al Conroy, who later played 114 NHL games for the Flyers (9 goals and some legendary fistfights, some of them here on youtube) and Doug Wickenheiser's brother (and Hayley's cousin) Kurt, who threw everything he had into a game, later as head coach of the Corpus Christi IceRays even coins at the opponent's feet (not nice) 🙂 Those were crazy and wild times back then, but we loved it...

@@jovanferdinands1927 That's what the bear looked like from 1975-1995 when it was the B's shoulder patch. What do you expect from a logo from the 1970's? Also, the jersey is an homage to hockey programs throughout New England. Nothing ugly about it.
