Great video. Don’t worry about the camera. If you’re inspired, and the lighting is good, you’ll get great shots like you did anyway. I love your enthusiasm. I’d be psyched too. Thank you, by the way. That was a much needed relaxing video.

I recommend the Garfield Conservatory in Chicago. It's like the grandaddy in the US of the kind of glass house landscaping you are geeking out abour in this video

@Jexx Xoémi exactly!!!! Such a cool place and it was built in 1907. So lots of old growth and it has a massive pond with grandaddy kio fish and also turtles

In total agreement with you. This is perhaps my favorite garden conservatory by far. The outside garden is great as well and their Christmas light show is ridiculous but whenever I go I he’d straight for the Fuqua.

For anyone like me there is a great shot of Nepenthes ampullaria starting at 10:01 There are more carnivores to but you should watch the whole thing to see them yourself.

I think the Anthurium in question might be A. Oxybelium juvenile. Ecuagenera use to have them in stock.
@UpperAquatics Жыл бұрын
10:14 what are those! They look awesome
@snowflaketherooster3895 Жыл бұрын
2:29 i think it's a anthurium luxurians, or a luxurians Hybrid. I might be wrong but that's my guess 🙂

Have you ever been to olbrich botanical gardens in Madison?
@daedricdonut3039 Жыл бұрын
The anthurium you wanted to find looks like a cross between A. Tremulum and Longissimilobum neither present the red stems so I'm still looking 😅

Did you catch the name of whatever is producing the waterfall of roots depicted on the video thumbnail and at 5:33? *edit* Found it! It is Cissus sicyoides
@lamshao9 ай бұрын
How much time would you expect to spend here?
@TechplantChannel9 ай бұрын
If the weather is nice you could easily spend 3 hours if not more. Hard to say, if you are really into plants it could be much longer. but if you treat it like a park to walk through its huge and they have places to eat as well. Idk its kinda hard to judge. there is 3 full indoor conservatories along with a massive outdoor garden with many many sections
