@@preciousbloomsja the common one , orange with yellow. They use it for landscaping here, or used to. The weather has changed and we are getting colder winters, sometimes hard freezes.

Hi Keisha, so sorry to hear about the misfortune with your epis but I encourage you not to give up on growing them again. Whenever you purchase any plant whatsoever, please find out the condition under which it was being grown so that you will be able to ascertain where in your garden to place the plant. Perhaps your epis came from a cool climate area or were being grown in filtered sunlight and you exposed it to full sunlight and it got scorched. I have learnt from many mistakes, the epis being one of them so don’t feel badly about losing yours. Next time you decide to purchase epidendrums, you could consider using my potting ingredients and place it in an area where it it not fully exposed to sunlight. Hi Sonia, I normally visit the various orchid and horticultural shows which may have a variety of colors. You may may want to visit the upcoming Manchester Horticultural Society’s flower show on Labour Day to see if you can get the other colours there to purchase.
