I think the Mega's shape exposes their engineering deficiencies. They had to go the extreme and shape it like a water drop in order to eek out 700km from a 102.7kWh battery. The X9 has a slightly higher drag coefficient, yet it is able to go 702km on a 101.5kWh battery. XPeng's recent offerings are known for having very accurate range estimates, while this is still an unknown for Li Auto, this being their first BEV. In addition, the X9 has foldable third row, rear-axle steering, front and rear integrated aluminum die casting, dual chamber air suspension, lower floor and height. At a far cheaper price to boot. It's clear who has the better engineering team.
