Both Trucks Getting Some Repairs- Tanker 2 Cant Run Now!!

Join along as we get both trucks ready for when the work is there. With the international about ready to run its time to get the tank ready. Once hooked up we learn real quick that some lines must be replaced after a blow out and a few more on the way of it. It’s good to watch a farmer that just can’t order up a new tractor or other equipment but has to repair what he has without paying for a technician to fix it. I’ve watched Chris tackle a lot of tough jobs over the years.

If you buy a new truck not only will you have to fix it but your payment is always there. At least with an old truck if it breaks down it does not cost you anything till you decide to buy a part. A new truck will always cost you something even if it’s broke down and sitting.

Been fixing my own old equipment lately. I've had the same thing apart 3 times now because the book doesnt help with worn structural parts out of spec. Keep your head up. Its all a learning process.

Chris when you zip tie your hydraulics on the tractor and equipment you should leave one zip tie long and one short so one represents lift and the other represents lower on the remotes so you can match them up easily when putting equipment on and off

@@andyzumwalt3632 it’s a weatherhead t-460. Found it with all dies for $800, barely used. Came off a service truck that had a powered crimper on the truck, so it was only used for on machine crimps. First tractor had 31 hoses to build, bought supplies from discounthydraulichose, it was paid for on that first machine.

A paid for truck can't be repoed. Old trucks will run if you put some work into them. My 92 suburban is still going strong. At 22 mpg, I can't complain
