The book is about 700 pages and there are all but 3 sentences talking about personalities of Trump and Putin. Both in the context of politics. That´s not how childlike grievances looks like. Those senteces are attaracting most attention by the media, so it may seem as if the book is about them, but its not. Anyone who knows a bit about Merkle understands she is extremely calm/cold and calculating.

Not much new here. Trump doesn't like to shake hands with anyone (germaphobe). He always was totally in charge of his businesses and so autocratic rule is normal for him. I always thought the reason he loved Russia and hated China is because Putin agreed to let him build a hotel in Moscow, but the Chinese wouldn't do it in their country. Same for the Saudis. He sees everything through his business eyes and is very transactional, never looks five moves ahead. That personality trait is terrible in a President, regardless of ideology.

Under her leadership as Chancellor, Germany has achieved the the second highest GDP per capita in the G20 and third highest GDP per capita in the world behind the United States and China. Pretty impressive for a small European country.
