Stick must feel incredibly comfortable in this vehicle, as it is essentially a rolling hotdish dish. Load up with an ammo rack of tater tots, and you've got rolling dinner for a month.

Some facts about the T55 / T55E1: The 8x8 "Cook Interceptor" was the basis for the design - it was designed by the Cook brothers, and the combination of them and the Allied Machinery Co was known as "The Interceptor Co." The T55 was suggested in Aug 1942, approved in Sept 1942, had the first pilot built and delivered to Aberdeen by Nov 1942. In early Dec 1942 after testing, no arm wanted it - Armor, TD, Calvary - but contract required two pilots. The first pilot was rebuilt in order to satisfy the contract requirements, becoming the T55E1. T55E1 was not suitable either despite the changes, but its "bogie suspension with chain drive" was deemed worthy of further study, and would later show up on heavy trucks. Now if only we could get the T17 Deerhound, M38 Wolfhound, T17E1 Staghound, and/or T27 Bloodhound* armored cars in the game. All four of them hopefully go in the tech tree. *Given the name trend of most of these armored cars, I thought the name Bloodhound would fit for the T27.

It could make a video of M2, the tank with more than seven 30-caliber machine guns, or it could be the M2A2 with two machine gun turrets, one with 50-caliber and one with a 30-caliber one. I like these tanks that are "curious", they are from a time when everything was in the beginning and they are interesting designs. I think it will be fun.

I'm trying to decide if this thing would be any good irl and I am struggling. On the one hand it'd be amazing for supporting infantry and armoured manouvres. It could easily keep up with the pace of the battle and give AT support wherever needed. On the other hand it might be so fast that people would be reckless with it and also... defenseless against artillery. But so are AT guns which I imagine this would act as so idk. I think it probably would have done great if it was used properly and not as a go cart with a gun lmao
