As a child in my motherland, mes amis, I read the memoirs of a chap who was a combat pilote of one of these in WWII. He claimed that the Flight Manual stated that the glide-characteristics were SO poor, that if the engine stopped, you should bail-out (if high enough) ... OR 'Whistle A Happy Tune and Kiss Your Ass Goodbye '! ... because a 'dead-stick’ landing was very iffy.

I recently came back to the game after losing my pc back in 2014 and I dropped all the lions I had to rush getting this plane. AND it had just been lowered down to BR 3.0 so I was lucky. I was disappointed at first when I realized it wasn’t the F4U that carried all the rockets it’s the French version, BUT this plane is such a beast and so fun to fly. And at its BR it has amazing capability as well as one of the higher lions and research earning planes too. Edit: also I just started using ground target ammo for air battles and it actually works VERY well for quick kills. Still experimenting but I think it’s superior.
