Ironically, the British Companies and Corporations list African minerals such as Aluminium, Bauxite, Chromite, Cobalt, Copper, Diamonds, Gold, Iron, Maganese, Nickel etc. in their Stock Exchanges, basically listing these minerals as theirs, but the people (Africans) who own these minerals are not wanted in the UK. Not wanted?? No. Africans are despised and hated in Europe. After 500 years of exploitation, every other race is appreciated, exalted and glorified except Africans. Not sure if it's relevant, but this is very par for the course in UK. The British ruling class seem to believe that govt exists to create wealth for their class. One way they do this is by privatizing the provision of govt services, giving billions to corporations run by their school mates and party donors. The key to privatizing is running services down and making them as expensive as possible. So immigration is like health care. They cut funding. They cut staff. They sell off housing stock so refugees have to stay in hotels, which costs more, keeping them waiting for years because there is no staff to process their claims. The goal is to get everyone mad, and then hand immigration over to one of the 3 giant corporations that provide govt services as the solution. According to Oxford University, immigration is higher this year because there are many more rich international students, and because our govt headhunted other country's healthcare professionals, as they've also cut funding for student nurses and doctors in UK. In recent years, UK govt also cut off all safe routes into the country, forcing all refugees to come by boat, which is much more visible and treacherous, so it seems like there are more migrants than in the past. France offered to set up an UK immigration office in Calais, which would end the boat crossings. UK govt said, no. That would be simple and effective. They don't want it to work. They want it to fail. They tell us it's a form of deterrence. This seems to be how British society functions. Failure is deterrence. Failure is punishment. Failure is success. Key note: 80% of migrants are ultimately granted refugee status by UK govt

Well said, we need to approach this topic from all angles and assess it in full perspective, there is more to it than meets the eye. Look at this in the right context: France and Spain sink the boats full of Africans in the Mediterranean sea! For the few who make it, job prospects in those countries are bleak, starting with having to learn a new language and culture in the worst imaginable conditions having dropped to the bottom of society with no means or resources and being openly discriminated against. Britain's asylum policy used to be fair to the asylum seeker, job prospects were the best in Europe and the language was more widely spoken and easier to learn for the non English speakers. Today, everything has gone south and there is a push against immigrants especially the illegal immigrants, the topic has become the center of every extremist's attack, immigrants are a media headline grabber, a scapegoat for politicians who have no answers on the seriously poor social economic status of the UK. You do not want to be an illegal asylum seeker in Britain right now, the conditions are horrible. I hope to get a comment from someone who is currently in the UK with access to an Asylum seeker for more detailed insights. With that in mind, think about the alternatives for these people after they reach the shores of Britain having escaped life as an illegal immigrant in France, Spain, Greece, Italy and Portugal. Most of you only know the Rwanda deal from the activists who are against it, they do not talk about Rwanda's experience in hosting asylum seekers, they do not talk about the black Africans who Rwanda rescued from Libya, the only country to offer a viable solution to brothers in a desperate state stuck between starvation, enslavement and daily slaughter. Rwanda already has asylum seekers from Congo, Sudan, Somalia, Burundi (this has gone back and forth between the sister nations for generations, with Burundi hosting Rwandan refugees during Rwanda's troubled years, today it's the other way round). A better life in Europe for unskilled illegal immigrants from Africa is an illusion, a dangerous one, and if looked at objectively, one might find the Rwanda alternative much more humane and fairer than the asylum seeker prisons of the conservatives in the UK. I speak not for Rwanda or the UK but for the men, women and children who end up on this battle ground for existence in unwelcoming lands, "les miserables" One has to asses this in the right context.

I'm glad you're reporting on this story. It's a topic that should be discussed globally, and especially among people who are attempting to access Western countries "illegally." In the US the current administration is responsible for allowing record numbers of "migrants" to flow into the country. One of the reasons why the poll numbers for the current US president are deplorable is precisely because of this "migrant" situation. But it's not just our brothers and sisters from Latin America who are pouring over the border. Indeed there are people straight of Africa who are flying into Mexico or somewhere and making the trek into the US. When they finally reach New York or wherever their final destination is, they seem surprised that they are not welcome with open arms and kisses. Ah no, even the Black Americans are screaming at the top of their lungs: "Go Home!" I believe there is a riot going on in New York right now because the Africans feel they are being discriminated against compared to the lighter complexioned "migrants" coming from Latin America. Mind you Chinese and other foreign nationals are pouring into the country too! But chances are when the Chinese nationals show up, they will probably open up some kind of business to generate revenues all the while they too will avail themselves of "free services for migrants." Such "free services for migrants" are not available to US citizens. So what is it the beleaguered African migrants are bringing to the table of a Western nation that is crumbling as I write this post? Dear African migrants I must simply ask: What did you honestly expect by coming into the US or any Western country for that matter? You want hand outs? You want to roll around in streets of gold? You want dignity? Guess what? So does everyone else -- especially citizens who paid taxes and fought in wars to defend their nations. And sadly, they are not getting the benefit of their bargain! Low wage jobs are disappearing. Despite the outward claims that the US is "prospering," the truth is the average American regardless of race and even socio-economic background is struggling. There are continuous lay offs. Supplies are getting sketchy. AI is erasing some jobs. Schools are having trouble keeping teachers. Students are unruly. We are battling serious social issues. Violence is on the rise, especialyl the ones motivated by racial animus. This is the story of America. I imagine in Europe nations are dealing with similar issues. Honestly, why can't Africans fight to make their nations liveable? Why is it foremost in their minds to go on rickety boats, where too many people die to go to a country where people honestly, don't want you and don't have the space to accomodate you? And even if they do have space because we all know the birth rate in Europe and America crashing. Europeans and American really really really, don't like Black people. They really don't. A lot of Africans pouring into America and other Western countries don't even speak the language and certainly don't know the culture. The Africans who make it to France live in squalor. Italy is riddled with aggressive African street peddlers from tourists. Mind you there are a lot of South East Indians doing the same thing, but it's the Africans who bear the brunt of the contempt. But who wants to visit these once dreamlike pristine European places when it's teeming with poor strangers? Why can't Africans seek opportunity on the continent? The West seems to have no trouble exploiting opportunity and earning billions of dollars to put into their pockets? I'm not even talking about old time colonial powers. The top 10 entrepreneurs in Kenya are non-African! So many white people flock to Africa because they see opportunity, meanwhile Africans debase themselves to enter a country illegally and then drive themselves crazy trying to make it in a place where the doors are slammed in their faces. Africans like to think Black people in the West complain too much. They don't want to believe that racism is very real. So what are Africans going to do when the West successfully re-colonizes Africa and decides to move to the new frontier of Africa and leave their rotten past to the naive Africans who are so desperate to come to the West? I realize the answer is complicated and lies at the feet of the corrupt leaders. But then, that's when the people have to rise up and do something.

It's not only African's immigrant who will be send to Rwanda, in the packages there are also many Afghans and according to some, they are the ones who constitute the bulk of the first shipment. We therefore wonder, what are the Afghans in Rwanda looking for, knowing that most of them are veterans who fled the takeover of power by the Taliban in Afghanistan. Botswana is not expected to involve herself on doggy deals. lt they dont want them who must except them even at a price. People chose to emigrate to Britain for their personal reasons and they dont expect diversion back to Africa. Europeans emigrated from Europe to every part of the world driven by poverty from Europe and a search for resources to replenish Europe . Re illegal immigrants (crossing in boats) to Britain, being sent to Botswana 🇧🇼 This won’t happen as the EU Human Rights Law has been integrated into British Law with ‘The Human rights act of 1998’’. So anyone from UK being sent to Botswana will easily b able to get a lawyer in UK to use that law against being sent there .African People don’t want to go to African Countries, they want to go to UK where a months pay in £ or € can b sent bk home to feed one’s extended family for a few months They can’t get this from other African countries especially fr non skilled workers. 🇿🇦
