Giovanni Bottesini's Gran Duo Concertante performed by Arlene Nimmons Pach, piano, Joseph Pach, violin and Gary Karr, double bass. . . . . 1975 I think. the gran duo is for two basses and not violin and bass

It has been been adapted to violin and bass, viola and bass, cello and bass, and bass and bass, but it’s played by violin and bass 99% of the time. In fact, Bottesini performed it with instruments other than violin only a few times.
