@7:45 That looks like a shard from a Delft piece. The crazing in the glaze means it's much older than your dump - brought over from Holland or the Netherlands.

I enjoy your videos ,yall find some old bottles, my sister lived in Dora by the warrior river should be some nice creeks to find bottles and indian points ,I've been digging bottles for50 yrs my home town is savh ga keep digging.

Man you got all the bottles out of this dig that I've also recently been finding! The end of last year I got that Glover's Imperial Mange, the Mrs. Winslow's, the Dr. Bell's, and that poison from my favorite dump!

@@adventurearchaeology it showed up in my Recommended for You by You Tube. Usually I like the medal detecting shows, but bottles seemed interesting. Then one of your river walks showed up and a medal detecting with History Seekers...and I was hooked! You do it all and your videos are great! I'm looking forward to watch more and catch up!

They used pig hair for toothbrush bristles back then. Yah, I concur with Angella-Clayton is definitely some eye candy! Doesn’t matter what he digs, I could watch him all day 😛 lol another great video guys!!

Cool video. Any bottle dig is a good one, lol. Most interesting bottle I have dug is one shaped like a decanter. Has dosage lines on the side and is embossed with Dr, Ross Liguid Tongue Relaxer.

seems people had tumy troubles alot in them days. bromo was big seller. have found them alot too.

Bromo was often a "Hangover cure", when drinking was a more typical practice in American society. You'll see it referenced in some old movies. Who was that guy who always was the broken down old cowpoke in the Western pictures?

The widget you found first is the top to am electric plug in, possibly for a lamp. I have the lamp, the original cord and that plug on my bedside table. Right now. It’s been in my family at lease since I was born in 1947.

I know you guys know your terrain, but it drives me crazy seeing Clayton digging down in that hole. Being from Bakersfield California you could never dig like ground is to sandy and dry. Be safe. Lol.

Cobalt is my favorite!!! I only find one or two cobalt bottles a year. Why can’t I find dumps like this.

It’s the top part of a lamp before the bulb. I believe it’s the piece that the fitting for the bulb wired into

It used to be a city dump! So when they were done they pushed dirt on top of it!

out of my 600 +,my favorite are the john wyeth and bro, found all four parts, the deepest purple cobalt blue! and the Fad rickter and company ice green,beautiful! found one in the box, in a wall, 99 pills of 100,nutos,perfect condition!

Hey Narice! Welcome to the channel! I have a video on how to clean bottles and occasionally we show them cleaned up via Instagram and in the community section of KZbin. We dig so many it is hard to get them all cleaned up for a video wrap up! Haha

Probably the least valuable, but I think those NuGrape bottles are gorgeous! Do the bottles in a dump just sink that low over years of weathering? Seems like there'd be more old bottles just mixed through. Really fascinating! Thanks guys! 👍👍

The softer the ground, the futher the bottles sink after being deposited especially areas with lots of rain. In drier areas it may take more time to sink. ...

I've actually dug one of them here, at 'Iwilei dump of Honolulu, until about 1920. Swamp was filled and Unocal marine refueling facility installed, as steamships switched from coal to oil burning.

I’m thinking it was common to throw mules, horses or other critters into the pit that passed away to be burned up. How auto mated was the process of making bottles on the 1915’s or older one you all find?

I believe you can date a bottle by how the top part or lip of the bottle was manufactured . You may have already covered this in your video on dating bottles.

Ugh. I hate when heavy rains fill my holes in at the insulator spot. It’s so much work getting to the glass layer and after some moderate rain it’s like I’ve done nothing .

I know this is morbid but my friends and I have a bet for how long it’s going to take before one of you are killed in a collapse. I pray it doesn’t happen but you are pushing your luck. Everyone luck runs out at some point. Thanks for the video and my you Rest In Peace when you are buried alive. Your family will just have to put up a head stone.
