When I was digging, I love finding a good intact heavily embossed milk bottle. Milk bottles are really cool to find. This dimp looks pretty good. Hope they keep coming out. Good video Rock. Yea.....all the rest I have found since have been roached out. Every once in a while you get lucky. I have seen alot of those old acl pepsi bottle....but ruined as usual. I hope for 1 or 2 more out of here...hopefully

Dump Digging is where it is at man. I find more good metal items on dumps than I ever did metal detecting...Plus you get the marbles and bottles....The only thing...it is stinky....dirty....HARD work digging the holes. I smelled like rotten cabbage today after 3-4 hours...LOL

Its so cool to think about at one time that spoon was used to feed a baby that has probably lived a long happy life .and now they have since pass away I hope you keep it for ever ..I am on a dump and I can't find any bottles that are not broke some kids years ago must have found them on the dump and started smashing bottle But I am not giving up I will find something Eventually

Believe me Ted....I went up there last night and could not find a stinking thing for hours. All of it was broken....found multiple 100+ year old mason jars....milks....soda bottles....and all of them were just exploded. That happens. I try and usually have 4 or 5 different holes opened up. So I can move around if it gets tough. Most of the stuff I find is in "Pockets"......I found all those nice milks....not I cannot find any. That is just how it goes. Just keep at it....and you will find stuff. I may go a week of digging hours per day and not find a nice bottle....then you get into a pocket and find 20 nice ones or more. That is just how it always goes for me. It is either feast or famine

Well I am not digging on flat ground. I am on the side of a hill where the water drains away fast. That is why I dig in those places.....there is none of that water residue buildup on the bottles.

Great finds again! I believe that person who I.D. the spoon was probably right. How about letting us know what you find out? If not, oh well. I have a sterling spoon very ornate stamped pat.1900 with a animal ( similar to the English standard silver mark) and a W in a circle, probably American .Good spoon. it took me awhile to learn that plated silver ware is not worth anything unless military marked.Later.

Could be....I know little about silver items.......It is not my area of collecting. I am just glad I brought it home. I seriously thought it was a plastic disposable spoon when it rolled out. I even let it lay there for a while while digging....then decided to pick it up. I was pretty shocked when I started cleaning it. Thanks for watching Dennis. Yea it is shocking that that spoon is silver. It was so crusted up. I seriously thought it was a plastic disposable spoon when it fell out of the side wall. I almost did not bring it home. Hey I wanted to tell you something that might make you pause. A channel I watch showed the person at a Marble Dealer Booth and he got to asking him questions. He asked what marble maker is most collected today, the guy answered, "Marble King" from the 50's through the 70's. I just thought you might like to hear that.

Marble Kings are the least valuable marbles on the market. They are pretty much junk. They only made about a half dozen marbles that will command any $$$$. The marbles from this video......are worth more than a 1000 marble king marbles. I can go to a factory dump and dig an entire 20 gallon bucket of marble kings from 1950-1970 in 6 hours or less. So can a lot of other people. Back in the 1990;s marble king marbles used to sell for a good bit.......but they do not anymore. The bottom dropped out of them value wise after people like me flooded ebay and other internet sites with them. I am sitting on trash cans full of them now and trying to wait for them to go up in value a little more. They arent even worth selling online anymore because the value is so low. Akro Agates....Alley Agates....Christensen Agates.....are by far the best marbles. And some of those other little West Virginia Factories that have been out of business for years. Marble King is still making those marbles in Paden City West Virginia.....and even the new ones are worthless

@@rockscousteau HAHA i know cause I watch your videos, just found it funny the dealer said that and all the slot marked for marble king were empty except for the bumble bee ones. But remember the guy was based in Kansas I believe said something about Christiansen being very available there. Probably marble kings not around that area so people want them. And honestly the most valuable I have ever seen were the marble with "POPEYE, OLIVE OIL, BRUTUS ETC..." INSIDE THE MARBLE. CLEAR WITH THE FIGURES INSIDE.
