Man I sure love the things you have found in dumps Rocks! It’s amazing that people threw away so much stuff in perfect condition back then! But when it’s free it’s more valuable to you due to the effort of finding it! Big 👍!

Wow, the New Frames look nice. A lot of good items today. I bought a Pig at a local antique store just like the one you got for free; I love pottery pigs. Heck, I like Pottery Items and Salt Glaze Crocks both, and you have a wonderful collection of Salt Glaze Items. You and Squirrel Man stay cozy warm, much love.

So many things there to comment on. The old back scratchers were notorious "boobie" prizes at carnivals and fairs. I still have one made from bamboo I got in the mid '70's. It's a prized possesion. Thanks Rocks.

I still have not seen another one of those lawsons bottles. I have asked a bunch of bottle collectors. I have no idea what that would even be worth? Id say $100 maybe in an ebay store.

The color green is interesting it's almost or exactly like the color jadeite which was so popular at that time.

I love your new frames! And---thank you for putting up the Cat Eye Hoard video at the end---I watched that one too. My home town had a Lawson's store, it was like an old school convenience store with a little bit of everything. Not a big store, but handy. I remember it well.

Or clutch cargo, anyone remember watching that? The figures would move across the screen like paper cut outs and just a movement of their mouths I don't even think the motion matched the words. I watched it before school eating breakfast. Funny memory popped up because of what you found.

That is 100% a Johnny west head. Never saw one intact on its own, never knew what it looked like on the bottom. The plastic on the body tends to get brittle over time and the limbs break off. They were made up into the 1970s but that one looks like it’s one of the older ones. I know ppl fix GI Joes so could use spare parts but I don’t know about the Johnny west figures. For some reason the old westerns died out in the 60s and the police dramas took over in the 70s so they were just died out too. That’s too bad, I couldn’t stand the police shows, absolutely hated them, so there was just nothing to watch in the 70s,,,

Lawson's was on every other corner when I was a kid in N.E. Ohio during the 60's and 70's. They were a dairy turned convenience store, one of the first that I remember. They even had their own jingle for their Orange Juice tankers, "Roll on Big O"..........
