"Please hit him" "...How have you managed to miss a giant glowing eyeball 8 times already this is embarrassing" *slowly claps from above* This makes reading the score a lot more entertaining. The arrangement is quite good as well.

I listen to this regularly. The original boss theme is such a wonderful, complex rearrangement of the simple main melody and this complexity stays in this piano version. Its quite possibly my favorite piano piece on KZbin. Amazingly done!

@ohwombat17875 жыл бұрын
i just wanted to say i’ve been looking off of this to play for a while and it’s VERY VERY difficult, but this is my favorite arrangement by far. most arrangements of this piece are too simple and ridiculously lackluster in comparison to the full orchestral version. this at least holds the epicness and intensity that i love about this “suite.” i’m not sure how playable this whole thing is because ive barely scratched the surface, but it’s very difficult to get a lot of the jumps and sixteenth runs (especially in the left hand) and in the key change in beast ganon’s fight like. there’s a lot that seems impossible to me, but i still think it’s incredible. (and i for one, as someone who arranges can appreciate leaving the key sign in c tbh. at least you kept the flats consistent! and it makes it way easier to read for a stupid lazy idiot like me when i can just imagine it in c) beautiful work i’m rambling now fhkdh

This is a really great arrangement, but dude... it's in c minor. just put it in the key signature instead of writing out all those accidentals!
@solfastirable6 жыл бұрын
i feel this comment but also like, i usually arrange without a key signature at first because im bad at recognizing which key sig a piece is in and when i switch it back and forth in musescore it messes up all the notes and i have to back and fix them all.. and then when i was 'done' with this one i was like bruh.. if musescore fucks all these pages up this will take me 8 years to redo so im just gonna like.. leave it. sorry, my laziness prevailed!
@Raze_1346 жыл бұрын
Shan K I know Musescore can be a pain at times but I haven't found messing with the key to be all that impossible.
@jsswift874 жыл бұрын
It changes keys. Beginning is in A Minor, which no sharps or flats is the correct key signature. The melody, however borrows from A major, which is why those Dbs should actually be C#s. Visually, this will make it easier to read.
@jsswift874 жыл бұрын
At measure 31 it should switch to Eb major’s key signature of 3 flats.
@jsswift874 жыл бұрын
Measure 151 we have key change from Eb Major to C minor but there would be no need to change key signature since both are same

I would like to know : in which mode / tonality the Ganon theme (and the Blight ganon theme) is ? The blight themes sounds very contrasted, dramatic, terrific then somewhat heroic at a moment. Sounds like Dorian mode but it is not Dorian scale. Do you have an idee ?

Do you have an arrangement of the actual piano part (not an arrangement of the piano overtaking the melody)? I was hoping the piano counterpoint sheet music was out there in the world somewhere because it's so insane and amazing. I'll keep checking your channel to see if you get a chance to do the piano arrangement as that would be nutters and even more commendable! Your notations on these were hilarious, btw. Edit: This is the closest thing I've seen so far for the piano part but it has a weird Phantom of the Opera ending for some reason... kzbin.info/www/bejne/oX_MipSwl52InNE
@solfastirable6 жыл бұрын
ah, no I do not, sorry! it's insane! I don't really think the dude really had any sheet music he was just free style improving. i have no plans to do an arrangement of that, sorry! it would take way too long i don't have the time :(
@jenniferchough6 жыл бұрын
it was definitely a written piece and not improvised (as it was played at an orchestral concert in japan note for note). i will likely have to buy it from an online company in japan or look for it when i travel there next. but here's the closest approximate transcription i've seen on youtube for it in terms of sheet music (except for the very end....he said he didn't know how to end it): kzbin.info/www/bejne/oX_MipSwl52InNE&list=FLFLRilUZzXfR0hs21oEgiBA&index=2 and then here's a performance of it by a trio starting at 6:35. the keyboardist did a pretty good job: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fp7WnYaAiaiKerM&lc=z22gvn3ouzn0sbhk3acdp432tdkrygeyoghbfdwvw05w03c010c.1522500201787355

Sounds great but im curious...you do know what an enharmonic equivalent is right? Example...if you write an A major chord use C# not Db. Same with using Abs instead of G# when the chord is spelled E major 🤔 If you gave this to an actual pianist you would be making it harder for them to read not to mention im not even sure if some parts are even playable. Good readers hate this sort of thing trust me
@solfastirable6 жыл бұрын
eh, i mean its not perfect, but im not a professional! ive been playing piano for over 20 years now and would probably consider myself a 'pianist' and i was able to play through this a few times on my old piano. i do these kind of arrangements mainly for stress/anxiety relief so its not something i really comb through with my basic grasp of music theory to try and perfect. i have a full time job and this is just a side thing that i do sometimes. feel free to go through and change whatever to suit your needs, i usually make little comments in pencil on my music while i'm playing to make it easier to understand. and in the future, maybe try to sound a bit less patronizing when commenting on some amateur zelda fan sheet music.
