19:53 I can only imagine that there is a bug, where reaching 0 HP doesn't count as dead until the entire animation of the death plays. And since you don't get the death flag until a second or so after the grab ends, then your armor has enough time to heal one tick and keep you alive. But it's complete guesswork, lol.

It's not that complex actually. Some attacks in this game will leave you with one hp if you do not have enough hp to tank it. Another example is the combo you get when you hit the great sage when he is in rock solid.

there is i love it sm it's saved me in boss runs if u go to 0 it still heals becauseeeee animations force you to actively stay in game so even if u hit 0 u get a tiny sliver at the end with the chest plate so bosses with animation attacks can't fully kill u with that attack but it will hurt

I enjoy watching challenge runs in games like these so much more than in hugely expansive games. Challenge runs in games like Baldurs Gate, Skyrim, or dark souls(not knocking your baldurs gates runs they’re good) are all like “can you beat this game using only [one of the game’s core systems designed to be used effectively in almost all of the game’s challenges]?” But runs in games like these are always like “can you beat this game using only [system added in as an afterthought with usefulness relegated to use as a situational supplementary]?”

Damn, I bet you wished you had that new Armor that came with "Patch 1.0.13.16669" as from what I have seen that armor reduces Stamina for jump attacks and adds a few IFrames to each jump kick. If you ever return to this challenge (maybe just doing the boss rushes without a weapon but free choice of armor etc.) it would probably be a game changer
