I'm gonna be as sincere as I possibly can and inform you that the boudin you tried cannot hold a candle in comparison to the boudin at NuNu's in and around the Lafayette area. The recipe made famous by the one and only Walter Broussard is without question the very best. I promise this.

You missed out on the best boudin in Louisiana. T-Boys Boudin in Mamou Louisiana. He wins the boudin competition almost every year. You definitely need to try it. They have the old fashioned slaughter house/butcher shop. Try the smoked sausage. You won’t regret it

Chops Specialty Meats in Brousard, off Albertson Pkwy. I have eaten some from all over, this was the best. I live in South Lafourche Parish. And when we head that way, that is our stop. Billy's wasn't that great, over rated.
