This was insanely important to find. I’m trying to build a 4x12 with K-100s and don’t know what to X pattern it with. Redbacks are curious for the power, but the V30 and 80s sound great! Awesome demo!!

CL80 + M65 sounds very balanced ans smooth. V30 + CL80 sounds very similar. These are my two favourites

K100 with heritage g12-65 for me. The shout and 3k/6k spike of the V30 just kill my ears in a room.

Everything sounds better with the Creamback. M65 is my favorite speaker to pair up with other high and upper mid speakers.

I agree here with this test, the M65 just sounded crisp, full and not brittle... not that the other speakers were bad by any means...

V30 + K100 is one of the best speaker combos. Can't go wrong with it in either a 2x12 or 4x12

V30 + K100 has been my favorite combo for so many years. I have tried many times to get it out of my life, but I am unable. I NEED this MIX of speakers! V30 + K100 4 ever ;) !

Haha! Maybe one day. According to my remembers, I prefered the M65 versus the H75. The H75 bring some high frequency top-end that I didn't like at the moment... but it's been a long time. I never tried the Alnico. Thanks for watching! ROCK ON !

The V30/K100 always been my top 1 combo speaker. The Classic Lead 80 and V30 is actually quite fun also.. The G12M65 and CL80 was also pretty cool. However, for the BouGear video and my everyday cab, I still kept the V30 K100 combo. Thanks for watching. Rock On !

@@bougear I was under the impression that Celestion wasn't selling the 16 ohm version of the K100.

@@JaimeNoro Celestion only offers the 16 ohm K100 for large orders. A private individual cannot order it directly. I bought mine through Avatar a few months ago. They had a sale with G12K100 - 16 ohm. Avatar had probably ordered a large quantity to ensure Celestion would produce them.

@@PK22-b7v Recorded tone and room tone perceived can be quite different. I also had to place differently the mic versus I usually do. 2 cab was used for the tests. So, plenty of variables in the equation, but if you ask me my subjective opinion, I have the K100 V30 combination in many cab since several years. Classic Lead 80 + V30 is another cool combination. Taste, ears, amp, cab, etc.. all those item will influence your speaker choice. Rock On Gear On
