I've been watching your videos religiously since your house was just a slab. I have gotten a lot of enjoyment seeing you and your family over the years! It would be a dream to come for a visit one day. It is quite a hike from here (Memphis TN area), but my youngest daughter actually drove a few weeks ago out to Logan, UT (around 90 miles from you, I think) for a summer job. She did it in 3 days, but it was still a long drive! Best wishes! Rick

My kids kept wanting to go faster on our little zipline. So, of course, one weekend, we actually roped an old mattress to the base of the lower tree and raised the launch pad... The boys each did their best stuntman impression as they gently slammed into the mattress. Good times!

@bebetjones55515 ай бұрын
I think what will draw all or some of the kids back to this place is them investing their time and energy in developing it; caring for the animals; and most of all, having parents interacting with them and teaching and training, loving and playing and praying with them. They will come to see you and their mother. It will be "home".

I told my daughter(15yo) 4 years ago that I've adopted you all as my family. So when she hears your voice, she says "you watching your family?" Yep! I categorize your videos and the free lawn care videos as guilty pleasure. You really help me take my mind off everything that's going on in America and just appreciate the little things. Plus, for us to be around the same age, you make me feel like I have the potential to do more and it's ok to not have everything figured out, but to keep trying until I do. Love your vids and family. Thank you for sharing every week.

Heath & Cedar, that gratitude is returned in kind, by I'm certain every watcher & subscriber, watching you build your family home, raise your kids, your love of animals, appreciate so much that you have opened up your lives to us all, I have enjoyed every episode from the very start, the editing & production quality has hit new highs over the years, way better than any TV series I ever watched. If all families lived their lives in such a wholesome way, there would be no crimes, no screwed up youth looking for direction, & we could all but do away with Politicians, thank you one & all. PS: Those solar panels are looking mighty dusty 🤣

Seeing the humming birds reminds me of something that happened when I was about 15 years old. We lived on a farm in Eastern Washington, not far from Spokane. One summer we decided to paint the house. I was out back on a 10ft step ladder, painting the trim and gutter on the Eve of the roof. I was wearing a red shirt about the color of your Ram truck. Suddenly, I heard behind me what sounded like the biggest bumblebee I'd ever heard. I turned to look and out of the corner of my eye, I see a humming bird hovering behind me. Apparently he thought I was the biggest red flower he'd ever seen!😂

If you keep that zip line long term, cables around the tree will damage the bark and eventually the tree. A bolt through the tree to attach the cable is a long term answer. I have many memories of a zip line and a big tree swing from being a kid. Great fun was had by all. Good job.
