Yep, boundaries are necessary in all relationships, especially friendships, no matter the length. I think the biggest thing I’ve learned is to not assume something is ok to do just because we’re friends. I We should always be considerate and allow them the opportunity to say no or I can’t do that without getting upset.

I hear people sometimes say the cliché “some friendships are for a season”. How do you know when a godly friendships should just simply end versus establishing boundaries?

@@ashleydeleon9970 I’d say we know when we attempt to resolve matters in a godly way, and establish boundaries, but aren’t able to come to amicable terms. Sometimes our sinful shortcomings have consequences that cause unhappy endings in friendships and all types of relationships.
