I think a lot of ppl missed the point. He was supposed to be terrible at his job. He sucked in a way you or I would if given these powers and having to step up against beings with more experience & control. He was a fish out of water. A man out of his element trying to fake it til he could make it. That was his appeal. He was so "everyman" in a "Greatest American Hero" kind of way.

Actually the best things for Eric Masterson was before he became Thunderstrike though some of his short run is thundersrtick was also pretty good he was the every man who slowly grew into a great hero

so do they explain why villains were being attracted to these building sites for eric to fight them in such quick succession. And what kind of crazy mortal fights someone with powers in the first place...? if they did explain that in a believable way it would be a cool characters!

I never liked him. Like I consider Carl Manvers to be a rip off of Wonder Woman without any appeal whatsoever, this guy was a Thor rip-off, never as good as the original.

That was the point of his character to not be as good or successful as Thor but to try his best to fill in for Thor until he would return he was never meant to be Thor but was forced into that role with no preparation or experience

@@JDot_9 there was some wasted potential on the symbolism. they show his mace engraving on his tombstone in the end instead of showing the mace engraving in someone elses hand
