This looks amazing! All locations, the vibe everything looks beautiful and feels serene. I'm interested in what kind of gameplay it will have! Would we have to collect all the zodiacs and figuring out their stories to release them from the curse? Like a visual novel? Will we play as Tohru? This concept looks so interesting, looking forward to the finished game! :3

I'm glad you like the teaser! The game will be played from first person perspective, it will be a narrative adventure/walking sim with simple interactions and perhaps some simple puzzles on the way. The players will play as girl named Rei who remembers of her grandmother's story about the Zodiac she used to tell her, before she passed away. As you may have noticed, I plan to include a scene where Rei remembers her grandmother's story in the cemetery. Soon she gets a request from the actual Zodiac spirits asking her for help. She later on embarks on an adventure in an ancient realm where the Jade Emperor resides, his realm is connected to 12 portals of the Zodiac. The Jade emperor and Zodiac share a sacred bond that connects their spirits for all eternity. The Zodiac want Rei to help them break this bond, so they can be free. This doesn't sit well with The Jade Emperor and he does everything in his power to stay with the Zodiac. The main gameplay loop will be freeing zodiac trough simple interactions and occasional puzzles. Also the main part of the gameplay will be talking to the Zodiac spirits and the Jade emperor. There will be many different conflicts and drama between the Zodiac spirits, The Emperor and Rei for the player to uncover. This is stunning. I know it’s only a concept, but I have always wished to have a Fruits Basket game to play, so even imagining this as a full game is wonderful. I’m curious if your use of “bound” was a mistranslation though? I assumed you meant “bond”, but maybe I’m wrong. Either way, I love this so much. Stunning art, beautiful & intriguing concept.

@@the_blind_chick Thank you so much for your kind words! Yeah you are totally right, it was a stupid spelling mistake by me, and I noticed it just now 😅... I actually plan to make this into a full game one day, I have a full script and a game design document for it. So make sure you follow the channel to see the updates and announcements for the release of the game 😁! The game will be inspired and contain references from Fruits Basket, Original Chinese Zodiac legend and my own twist to the story. So you can expect, more beautiful scenery, complex and interesting conflicts and drama between Zodiac spirits, the Jade Emperor, and the main character. The game will be a first person adventure game where you could talk to Zodiac spirits and the Emperor, as well do simple puzzles and interactions!
