If you're looking for bounty hunting, you can find systems that have low to medium security. As soon as you jump into the system, find the nav beacon. Once your closer to the nav beacon , drop out of SC (supercruise) and you can find a lot of ships hanging around jump points. That's the time you can really rack up the credits. Use your scanner to scan ships as soon as the jump into the sector. Of course. You can't attack Federal Security or Federal Agents or any ship that registers as "clean." But if you run across any ships that say "wanted" to them, they're potential targets to take out. And often times, with targets that are bigger and better shielded than you, don't initiate the fight. Wait for the FSS to start the fights and then chip in by using your hardpoints to attack wanted individuals. You can earn some good credits doing this. And you can redeem them by visiting your local station.
