Love the healthy pour. Also, you are not alone. Having the very best is not a sickness it's a choice. I will never be a fighter pilot, but I can play like one and I want as close to real as I can get without actually getting my ass shot off. Getting closer to pulling the trigger on a rig. More research and finishing the alimony payments...

Just had the Black plastic center part of the connector break on my Realsim grip, and after $30 to get a replacement one from Realsim, I'm seriously considering selling my whole kit and replacing with Tianhang. They're a joke, selling a $3 part like that for that money. I know VKB would have given me one for free. What I'm really curious about is, how does the Tianhang software for the Kepler 22b compare? Does it allow similar customization like axis offset and NASA sensibility? Is it possible to set up multiple force profiles that you can quickly swap between, like if you like different settings for different sims? Any advanced configs, like setting buttons to have different functions on short vs long press?
@BlackSockRepublicАй бұрын
@@b34k97 yep! That part broke on mine too!! More like RealScam amirite? The Kepler uses freejoy software which is open source. I’m not too well versed in it but those functions might be possible.
@b34k97Ай бұрын
@@BlackSockRepublic Nice, thanks for the reply! Would you recommend the Kepler 22B or the Pro version (now that Tianhang is starting to send out a fix for it) for using on a desk mount? The Kepler seems to only supports 4kg force (~8.8 lbs) whereas my Realsimulator is rated for 13lbs (which is how I use it)... so I dunno if I'd want to downgrade to that, but I don't think I'd need the full 22lbs of the Pro.

Enjoying your videos. Does the Tianhang base have software with which to tune it? I have both the RS Lighting and Ultra. i use the software to adjust NASA, deflection angle, etc. Quite intrigued by the Tianhang unit and grips based on your thorough comparisons. Also, I see Tianhang offers a 23- and 26-function grip. Does the 26-function grip have five-ways like the RS? THANK YOU!
@BlackSockRepublic8 ай бұрын
Hey it’s my pleasure. The tianhang uses… uh… freejoy or something? Says so on his website. It also is adjustable manually under the base with the screwdriver but I haven’t fiddled with that yet and I think that’s for trim, not pressure. As for his 26 function stick, I don’t know as I haven’t purchased it. I would assume it’s like that. The TMS, DMS, and trim hat are all 5 way press like the realsim stick. The realsim turns the master mode, pinky, and weapon release into a 5 way as well. Idk who the hell needs that many hats, but hey I’m not here to kink shame.
@manashttu8 ай бұрын
Ah, cool. So the base grip has the same button functionality as the RS. On my RS grip, I actually disable the five-way functionality because I get excited and punch the buttons in the wrong direction all the time. Just the authentic functionality is ok with me. Thank you.

Would you say the Tianhang grip would work well as an A-10C grip on a VPC center mount with extension? I am really keen on getting a single grip that I can either mount as a side stick controller for the F-16C or swap it out for the center mounted setup, but RS and TM weren't the way to go, but now you are enlightening me with Tianhang
@BlackSockRepublic8 ай бұрын
I’m really fond of tianhang. I currently have his stick on my VP force rhino. The problem is the stick is canted 13 degrees forward which is correct for a viper SSC configuration. I’m talking with him (tianhang) now to have a straight up and down stick made. I will purchase it when he has it done.

@@BlackSockRepublicAny chance you can tell me how comfortable/uncomfortable the A-10C version is as a SSC on the tianhang base? I bought the A-10C grip but balked on buying the base so far, as I would prefer not having to buy a completely separate grip just for the F-16. If the ergo isnt terrible with the A-10C grip on the force sensing base, i think ill just pick one up too!

@@Zrad both tianhang and realsim sell angle adapters for a reasonable price… get the realsim one I think that’s more universal, where as tianhang’s is specific to thrustmaster only. Real talk; I was moving a stick back and forth too. It’s a fucking pain dude just get another stick lol

Nice video. Found this by accident as I was looking for a wufen m-fssb Kepler-22b based. I bought one while I was in China and am looking for the software for it. Mine came with a thrustmaster adapter. But that’s made of nylon, soo doubt that will last long. I’ll have a look at the tianhang sidestick. I think I had the choice of toughness, and that was difficult to make without knowing what’s what. Note I know xthe difference is a couple of o-rings, so I’ll see if I can somehow obtain them (mine came without o-rings).

Is it possible to adjust the max force required yourself, or is it set by tianhang when ordering? Saw in the comments on another video that you've ordered the PRO version of the fssb, so might wait on that review before biting the bullet. Anyways, thanks for the videos, and enjoy your bourbon!
