Great store. I picked up a Driftless Glen Bourbon CS store pick 125 proof there that is fantastic. I bought a Joseph Magnus Cigar Blend there before and some Early Time BIB. The Binny’s in Evergreen Park is not too far from there. I have picked up some EH Taylor, Eagle Rare and Blanton’s at that Binny’s. There is also a Kenwood Liquors in Homers Glen that I hit when I go to the Binny’s in Orland Park. 🥃

Those Driftless Glen bourbon and rye picks are worth the pickup. I'm starting to feel like I could random buy a store pick at Kenwood and come out OK though.

Dude please tell me you walked out with that Driftless Glen cask strength and bourbon de naranja!? That Four Roses tier 6 barrel strength was definitely a buy at $125! Oooo, Redbreast 12 Year cask strength!

@@BlackBourbonFamily Those are dang good prices on them too. The naranja is around $80 here and it has to be ordered in from the distributor. I see the 96 proof single barrel picks all the time but not the cask strength (which would be the white/grey windmill on the far left). I see they have single barrel rye picks as well but it's the 96 proof, the cask strength rye would have a light blue windmill. I haven't heard of any in my area (La Crosse, WI). Also I don't know which recipe that tier 6 Four Roses barrel strength was but at $125 it doesn't matter which recipe it was. I also didn't catch if you mentioned the age statement on that one. The only polarizing recipes currently (they are adding two new mash bills, which means 20 total recipes eventually) is the F yeast strain (OESF and OBSF). The F yeast strain is herbal notes, but perhaps better described as the one that can produce mint/spearmint flavors. Some people like it, some people don't.

@@BlackBourbonFamily Ah, that's why it's still on the counter. That's the only problem with so many recipes. When people ask me about Four Roses I always tell them to try and track down the 10 recipe sample box. That's the easiest and cheapest way to figure out which recipe(s) are for you. It's important to remember they are all single barrels on top of that. So one OESF could be phenomenal and another one could be a drain pour, for example. I did a doubletake through the video. I apologize, I did not catch the older labels on two of those Driftless Glen bottles. The one on the far left with the white/light gray windmill is the newest label style for cask strength single barrel bourbon with an age statement. The bourbon de naranja also has the most up to date label. The other two bottles have one of the older label styles and both might possibly be cask strength single barrels!
