Such an underrated song! It must have been pretty intimidating to sing that song with Martina live, but both of them killed it! Clint is an underrated vocalist. I've watched that live version a million times and always wondered why people didn't stand. My guess would be that it was not really a traditional country song and therefore maybe controversial. I am big into the traditionalist movement, but that is one of my favorite songs just for the sheer awesomeness of it. Lol. Thanks for the video guys!

My favorite songs by Clint Black (from oldest to newest) are A Better Man; Put Yourself in My Shoes; Where Are You Now; Loving Blind; No Time to Kill; A Good Run of Bad Luck; State of Mind; A Bad Goodbye (duet with Wynonna Judd); Half the Man; Happiness Alone; One Emotion; Summer's Comin'; Desperado (cover of a classic by The Eagles); The Shoes You're Wearing; Nothin' But the Taillights; That Something in My Life; Loosen Up My Strings; Still Holding On (duet with Martina McBride); Something That We Do; You Don't Need Me Now; You Know It All; Love She Can't Live Without; and When I Said I Do (duet with his wife, Lisa Hartman Black). BTW, he wrote or co-wrote every one of these songs except for Desperado. My favorite songs from Martina McBride are That’s Me, Independence Day, That Wasn’t Me, Wrong Again, and Still Holding On (duet with Clint Black). She has amazing range and power. You can feel her emotions every time she sings with that golden voice.

Great reaction!! Clint has always been one of my favorite male singers. I had to listen to the studio version to see if i remembered correctly. And yeah, even in that they are slightly out of sync. Back then, i figured it was on purpose to emphasize the story in the Lyrics, of two people that are falling out of love, but are still clinging to what was. IDK, thats just the impression i got.

Both are fantastic singers. I took this weird start as him being a bit nervous singing with her and her holding back a bit to give him room to figure it out. I've always heard she was a very gracious person, sweet and all. Anyway, great review.
