I luckily stopped in a VA ABC one night and got this, four roses LE 2024, and Makers Cellar Aged 2024 at the same time. Might have been my best night of bourbon ever.

Happy to hear that this bottle is really good since I still need to crack mine open. I was fortunate to get one for $173 earlier this month. I also got the 16th edition, the double barreled bourbon, last month for $200.

I just picked up a 13 year cask strength single malt from New Holland that I am sure would compete really well with this bottle. Cheers!

This is a malt whiskey for bourbon lovers. Other than a little thin in viscosity, it was great! Absolute buy at MSRP and would pay up to $300.

Very fortunate enough to purchase a PH14yr for $250 in Idaho a few weeks ago, gotta love MSRP!! Definitely a magnificent bottle worth buying.

I’m interested in seeing how this compares to similarly aged scotch single malts. Proof might be hard to match though.

The only time I have seen bottles from parker's Heritage they are $700 - $900

Nice review. You don't need to like American Malts to like this. I enjoyed this but last year's rye was infinitely better. This was such a mellow easy sipper. Crushable. My one complaint, I thought the finish was weak or mild. I needed a little more from it. The first time I loved it. Maybe I need to go in for a third time.

How about doing a blind against Stranahan’s single malt which is consistently rated the number one single malt. Also compare it with the single malt from Boulder Spirits.

This is 65% corn/35% malted barley with a congnac finish, so it’s a malt blended whiskey made for bourbon drinkers, so they should be able to tell the difference between a single malt.

It’s solid, but people will mostly buy it because it’s a HH limited release. I understand this is an LE with a crazy cask finish and decanter bottle aimed at bourbon drinkers and that’s where the price all is, but the courage and conviction bourbon cask SiB that I have smokes this for $90, and it’s a close profile.
