Afam you are the correct guy. This is the best video I have ever seen about Lagos. No sun reflection, no frequent zooming of camera, no shaking of camera, very clear and green graphics. Infact i am subscribing now. please help me cover separate videos of the following: Victoria Island, Lagos Island, Ikeja and Port Harcourt city. I really need them for my schedule .Thank you.

Afam, thanks for the nice video. Something caught my eye. At 0:21 to 0:27 you drive by a series of advertisements mounted to lightposts on the median. The models in the advertisements all appear to be white or light-toned black. Is that so? This struck me as odd since the population in Nigeria is almost exclusively dark black.
@sylviasworld93974 жыл бұрын
Nigerian advertising has all types just like the population. I can't say that most of the Nigerians I know personally are dark Black, even though some are.

@@sylviasworld9397 I looked through a number of videos on KZbin that came up under the catch-all keyphrase "Welcome to Nigeria". Take this video for example: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gmLWYn6VpK97n7c Most people are mid-tone to dark black. Those videos stand in contrast with the apparent color of the advertisement and your assertion. I am interested in instances of advertisement not matching the ethnicity of the target audience of the advertisement. That may be the case here.
@mobileghamer4 жыл бұрын
The way Nigerians view color is different,,, there are a million more adverts in the city without depicting 'colorism' . You watching youtube videos did not tell u we have over 250 ethnic groups in the country,, ,so we are interested in culture, art , language...as far as the model is a nigeria/african color factor comes last
@mre884 жыл бұрын
@@mobileghamer Color is very important, and there is plenty of scientific evidence to back that up. If you had to look at people every day that don't look like you, you would become deranged in some way. My point is that the people on the street do not match the color of the people on the advertisements: Why? Can you name some Nigerian tribes that are light black with substantial population numbers?

@@mre88 its important to u not me appearently , who are the people on the street?? hv u walked the street or is what u see on tv some of the ibos and part of the Fulani

@Eat the Bootie this is a quiet residential neighbourhood not a business district- it's not meant for.noisy speeding cars. Besides, have you been to London? Some of the streets are so narrow, only one car can pass at a time....
