exactly. I remember in one interview RvP said something like he left because he felt abit cheated, wenger told him that he will bring in players and compete with the best but we all know how it went. Even Henry admits that he knew nothing was gonna change(in graham norton interview if not mistaken), which is why he left for Barca. Most of our top players left because the club is not competing for the major trophies, money do play apart but mostly it is their sporting ambition that they know they will never achieve at arsenal. Just take Fabregas for example, how many trophies has he won after leaving arsenal? This will continue to happen as long as wenger is in charge, i suspect Lacazette will leave in a few seasons too.

for me, he should have step down when he ends the trophy drought with the FA Cup, most fans still had alot of respect and love for him at that time and it could have been a perfect ending. A top club should always be on the lookout to consistently improve the team, not scramble in search for replacements in fear of losing status quo (i.e. losing out on champions league). Robbie,troopz you have both got it wrong.Its supposed to be the performance of the supporters during the game that should be marked not the case of the supporters turning up to the game.Thats basically like saying the players should be marked for turning up to the game which basically after that performance they shouldn’t.totally agree with the young guy.coys!!!!!
