I would like another story time with all of the drama! Not because I like drama or anything, but as another small business owner, it makes me feel better to know that I'm not the only one who struggles with these kinds of things. I totally agree with unfollowing the Instagram accounts that you subconsciously compare your store to. I feel like I've been dealing with this recently. Hey Alli! Can you take us WAY back to when you first started. You’ve mentioned a lot of tid bits here and there but would looove to hear all you remember about just starting out as an online retailer. Why did you do it? At what point did you quit waitressing? Did you target locals a lot or did you focus a lot on nation wide customers? How did you do that? Did you have a “strategy” all these influencers talk about or were you SUPER consistent? Tell us all the things. Also, I adore you, your drive and determination. Keep being you cause I’m heeeeere for it!

question: what do you use to make your bar codes. I'm opening a biz soon and I hope to build a brick and mortar one day but don't know what to use to make my bar codes. (That work with square) Once it gets scanned it want it to get directly to the item but don't know how to do that or set it up on square.

I have been wanting to do this for such a long time but just didn't know how I was going to manage starting a boutique from scratch with a tiny budget. its so nice of you to share with us! We'll speaking from a customer's perspective it has happened to me twice that packages say delivered and they don't arrive. Once a neighbor had the package and returned it about 2 days later but didn't tell me, he/she just left it there. And the second time they scanned it as delivered but it never was, I followed up with USPS created a case and everything, they delivered it about 2 weeks later. So I've been on both sides of the table and can safely say not all customers are just trying to get free stuff, even though some are.

Hii. Love your videos! Have you ever ordered inventory online from a wholesaler that was new to you? How do you deal with inventory you don't like? Esp from wholesalers that have a strict return policy and high shipping/handling fees? I don't live near any wholesalers and shopping online from wholesalers has been a challenge because I am afraid it'll be bad quality or won't fit as described.

Hi Alli!! I love your channel (it’s the only one I follow) and love checking out your social media posts/ ads. I’m a hopeful future boutique owner in MI and think what you’re doing by putting yourself out there, and helping the next person following their dreams is amazing!! I have two questions, and maybe there’s two answers based on when you first started and where you are today since you’ve grown so much - 1) do you do all of your own social media posts and stories? And 2) do you manage your website or does someone do it for you (ie adding new items, updating content and making changes)? These are two big areas of concern for me since I would be managing it myself and I’m contemplating having someone else help me! Any input is appreciated! PS- I let my 10 yo son use my google account so he could upload videos to KZbin and now the name is “let’s play with Dj” and there’s a creepy robot pic. This is actually a 40 yo woman messaging you!
