Hi Arlynn, I just came from Kiki's channel who made your bow on her wreath. I used to do this bow out of leftover ribbon pieces not knowing there is a name for this type of bow. I Love your style so I am subscribing.

Thanks for the link to this tutorial series. I realized within less than 2 minutes exactly why my bow was NOT working out! Just like Paula Hammett, I was stacking the bows all on top of each other instead of alternating them: ONE loop UP, then ONE loop DOWN until all 9 folded ribbons were ready to be tied off! Good grief!!! No wonder my bow was a total disappointing DISASTER!!! The fact that I'm using my Bowdabra to "hold" my ribbon doesn't change a thing about your wonderful instruction. Thanks as well for the PDF that I saved as well as printed out. I'll keep the printed version in my ribbon storage box and follow them until I can do it in my sleep! It's so awesome to have access to skilled crafters like you who are so willing to share your expertise with us NEWBIES! Can't tell you just how much I appreciate that!! I noticed some other tutorials you've posted. I AM going to tackle the lanterns. I have a crazy passion for decorating lanterns. P.S. I couldn't help but notice your BEAUTIFULLY decorated home all ready for Christmas when you recorded this bow video. OM GOODNESS. It's my definition of PICTURE PERFECT!

Love your funky bow series. I had thumb replacement so I can’t hold loops in my hand. So I tie each loop individually then gather all loops together use zip tie to assemble bow turns out great. My 16 year old grandson was surprised I made a 12 loop funky bow for a gift he gave to his girlfriend. Thanks for sharing your talent the bow I made was a big hit! Love your home decor and enjoy all your videos. God Bless.

I'm going to love this series!!! While you were making the bow , I was writing down the numbers for a 9 loop funky bow. It works better for me to know that if I cut the ribbon 22 inches, I can make a small bow with a 5 1/2 loop. Eventually once I get comfortable with making bows then I can venture and cut the ribbon any size. Thanks for making this video. XO, Lisa Sagardia

I've been making bows for about 40 years sex to my grandmother teaching me I'm now 69 and still love making bows I've yet to use a bow maker but don't that doesn't mean I'm not going to try one anyway it seems like the funky bow is the easiest bow I've ever seen made except for the round bow where you do the little clippings of a angled round round round folding the middle clip it and then pull them out anyway I think the funky bow is so much fun thank you for sharing❤

Great idea for a series to teach how to do the funky bows & others. I've mastered the funky bow and had to figure out my own way to hold the sections while making it. There is no way my poor hands will let me hold even half of what you hold. (darn arthritis)I think I've turned into a crazy funky bow lady. @ArlynnsCountryCraftCorner6 жыл бұрын
Hi Nancy...You can make them whatever length that you'd like for them to be, the most important thing to do is to keep your loop length consistent in whatever size bow you are making. You can always trim the tails down when you're finished making the bow. :) Thank you so much for watching...I hope you enjoyed them.

Are you asking me a question Maria? I'm not sure if you mean one of the loops or one of the tails. If it is one of the loops, you can find its tail and tug it to make it smaller. It it is one of the tails, you can trim it down to the length that you want it to be.
