Great review I liked how you showed performance, dismantle, and overall opinion on quietness.

Got one of the original 3 Rivers Dalaa 21’s in 2008. Still my best riser.

Currently trying to decide between an ilf setup based the das bows for an upgrade next year. The das system has been confusing me as to how the limbs interchange. This video pretty much made my mind up, I really like the added security of the limbs.

Nice setup! If I’m ever gonna get into barebow, I want one of those risers! Can any ILF limb fit those thumb screw’s?
@pitbullman41114 жыл бұрын
Yes sir, once you swap the ilf bushings with das bushing any ilf limbs will work!

I have been thinking about a das 21” riser and long limbs set up as a hunting bow for quite sometime now. Can you please give me some idea of how it would handle in the woods and the fields, is it a heavy bow to carry around? I have to be honest. I love the beauty of hand made wooden bows, and them being so light in weight. But it’s so hard to find a good U.S. hand made wooden recurve that doesn’t have a at least a year or more waiting list on it. And a big fat price tag to go with it. Thanks for any help!

Everything we do will come with some type of trade off. I carried a wf21 and meds around this season myself. That's a 64in bow and it weighed about 5.5 to 6 pounds. A hefty girl to say the least. I never found a negative except the weight. The rest of was the same as any other 64in bow wood or metal. I hunt alot of public and walk alot so I wanted something lighter. I'm using a 56" big stick Gremlin now and it's alot nicer on the hills and hikes in. All that said the das21 and longs will be a very capable setup for you and do whatever you need it to do.

Great video thanks for sharing being eyeing the 21 for some time. You might’ve just sold me on one ☝️ still contemplating if ILF or das bolts. So with the Das bolts no need to worry about limb alignment or adjustments

Correct das connection rock!
@jacobhirst84753 жыл бұрын
Dude go with the das connection! I just got my 21 dalaa with uukha limbs and it is such a sweet shooter. Mines for a hunting bow as I’m pretty tall but it is super smooth.

The limb pads' bolts, do they screw straight into drilled and tapped holes in the riser or do they screw into stainless steel bushings like in the DAS HT 21? Thinking about getting the ilf version
@pitbullman41112 жыл бұрын
Into the riser itself

Great video. I’m on the fence for a das 21” but I already have a titan 1 just been attracted the look of the sleek looking das riser tbh lol. I don’t shoot in tournament only hunting and draw around 28” does it make sense to go 21” (or heck a 17” das to swap with the titan when I’m bored)? My main limbs are medium.

Been thinking of metal riser ilf type bows, I have a 32" draw...what riser and limb length do you suggest??? Been shooting 3-D with a Black Widow for 20 years, want to try something new 🤔
@jacobhirst84753 жыл бұрын
So I was in your predicament... not quite 32” but just over 31”... I picked up the 21” das with long limbs to come in at 66” and it will easily take a 32” draw. But for that length draw I’d stick with that 66” total length or more man it’s so much more smoother for us long draw guys

Did you have to sand down your limb butts on your Das 21 AND 17 INCH RISER? Also did you have to sand the Das bushing or sand the ilf limb bushing hole to fit as i see your das bushing is loose in the limb? Thank you
@pitbullman41113 жыл бұрын
No sir, no sanding for me. The das bushings are a bit looser.

Can the DAS system adjust left/right like ILF? Or just tiller adjustment?
@pitbullman41114 жыл бұрын
Just tiller adjust the grooves in the limb pockets line up left/right. Unless your limbs are way crooked.

Thanks. This is the only vid I can find that explains the Das system. Good luck hunting tomorrow.

@@pitbullman4111thanks for doing your reviews. I’d love to know if you prefer the 21 DAS (using Das plates) or the WF21 using ILF? -I’ve just got myself a set of DAS 3k limbs in ILF but may switch ‘em to DAS fittings. Cheers

@willcallaghan7815 after alot of shooting with both the end results were this, the wf21 shot a little better for me. The Das is a great setup and honestly, if I had to pick one setup or the other I don't know if I could. They both fill niches that I like about certain Hunting situations. The Das setup was much lighter and easier to carry around public land. However I could shot the wf21 setup noticeably better.

Great video! The best video I have seen on explaining the das system. It's hard not to like the concept. I believe you are more than just a mediocre shot. Being humble is however a sign of good charactor in my book.
