Hey guys I filmed this one yesterday and since we all seem to be in lockdown thought I'd just release it today.

I have a gerni pressure washer and I only use about half a cap full of Bowden's green snow foam and then fill the snow foam container to the brim with water. Due to the high pressure of the gerni even on the lowest setting it blows it out in a thick foam looking more like whipped cream. After hand washing my car and rinsing it off I use a garden leaf blower to blow the water out of all the nooks and crevice's ready to apply polish which I do every time I wash the car. At 15 years old people still think it looks brand new.
@Dave30867 Жыл бұрын
No matter what you use you will still have to manually hand wash your car to get it looking its best. Foam is a great way to soften up the grease and dirt as a pre wash .
@EvolvedDetails Жыл бұрын
Yes that's right and that's what these are advertised to do, Although if a cars slightly dusty but doesn't need a full wash I sometimes foam, rinse then use an air dryer so can get a nice touch free wash dine

Thank you. Love the slow suds captures. I got the yellow Snow job, does a decent job and smells great. I also use a similar Ryobi Pressure Washer. I got their Foam Sprayer (RPWA-FSA) from Bunnings, ($19.99); works great.

Thanks Ian, I haven't tried out the yellow snow yet I'll have to check it out. Yeah those little ryobis are great aren't they and can't be beaten for the price

@@EvolvedDetails hey mate, I have the same pressure washer! I couldn’t find any retailer selling a short trigger gun for this particular Ryobi with quick connect. Can you share where you get it from and which adapter to use please 🙏🏻

I have some of this at home and use it when the cars are extra dirty and you're right about the cleaning ability, I use it on a red car and when rinsing I watch the dirt fall away which I hadn't noticed as much with other snow foams

Thats a great video , very impressive thanks mate. The music where did you get that from while the suds were working there magic. I could listen to that after a hard day's work. And a couple of beers 👌 great clean job wife would of been happy with the results.. keep up the great videos !

You won't be disappointed, I just wouldn't use it every wash as it may strip down any wax or sealant a little faster

I have found Auto Brite Maggie foam to pull a lot of red farm mud from my neighbours ute But that was 200ml and 800ml water. Will have to wait for it to get more dirtier to try this Product out. Have found not doing a pre rinse to pull more dirt from the paint but that's my opinion.

Firstly, fantastic job on the video, will have to look into picking up one of these Bowdens Own Mega Snow Job kits ... Secondly, what is the music you use in the video ?, loved it ... sounds like Workbench ? but I don't think it's one of Sebastian's tracks.
@EvolvedDetails2 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate, I actually can't remember which track I used as I just get all my music from epidemic sounds and I just find one that works and use it.
@HaveOneWithHans3 жыл бұрын
Much prefer this to the normal snow job as it softens the dirt and grime on the paint more. I spray wheely clean on my wheels then go over the whole car in mega snow and heavily rinse it all off without having to touch the wheels. I give the wheels a big clean once a month though
@EvolvedDetails3 жыл бұрын
Definitely seems to have some great cleaning ability.i wouldn't want to use it every wash personality though as I think that would cause my ceramic coatings to to fail a little early
@TezNguyen3 жыл бұрын
@@EvolvedDetails can you go into more about this please? since i also have ceramic coating on my car, spent a fair bit on it idk it to get fucked up too soon
@EvolvedDetails3 жыл бұрын
@@TezNguyen you want to use a PH neutral soap for maintenance washes if you have a ceramic coating. The pro I used here is something you would either use to help strip down the car if it hadn't been washed often or was extra dirty. Using something like this product too often will wear the coating down a little earlier

Hi, Have you ever tested autoFinnese Avalanche? I have both but found Avalanche Cuts more Dirt. What's your view on that ??
@EvolvedDetails Жыл бұрын
Hi no I haven't used Avalanche I ended up moving to Carpro Lift as my pre foam snow when I need something a little stronger as I found it quite cost effective in bulk sizes but it seemed to clean very similarly to the Bowden's when I compared them directly
@DARTHPHIKL8 ай бұрын
How do you rate this compared to the Mirch Decon? I have used it a few times and works really well to decon my ceramic coating.

I definitely like both but would need to compare them directly to really say. Without comparing I think I liked the bowdens a little better.

So is this the holy grail of touchless washing or do you still need to wipe over?

Haha no you definitely need to still wipe it down. Sometimes if the car is not too dirty I'll do a foam like this then rinse and blow dry which is touchless

@@EvolvedDetails I'll go back to a bucket and sponge it's far cheaper and does a much better job.only disappointment is I can't get a refund on the snow cannon and rubbish overpriced soap.
@EvolvedDetails Жыл бұрын
Nano is meant to be used in a bucket and not in a foam cannon. They have a dedicated snow foam for the foam cannon that's meant to losen the dirt and Grime before using nano in a bucket. Snow foams aren't meant to be a one step wash unless the car is just dusty they are designed to be used before the contact wash stage
@vtwin1979 Жыл бұрын
If you pressure cleaned it first you would have removed about the same as with the foam. You still need to wash it with a mitt anyway. It’s all just a money making marketing ploy.
@EvolvedDetails Жыл бұрын
No pressure washing doesn't do nearly as much as a pre soak in foam. There's multiple videos of people testing foam and rinse vs just rinse and there's a clear difference For most that effort isn't worth it but if you've paid money or spent the hours to remove the swirls from your paint then generally you'd want to use the safest possible wash process to avoid putting swirls back into the paint
