@@benda18 No, it's Not. It's not that hard at all. However, if you have ever been on stage yourself, to Sing, dance, in A Band, or play, orchestra, Musicals, "Broadway," You are entertainment for others regardless of what's offensive or not. Some crowds are different than others. You have to get over the: "hard to be the funny and kind thing to succeed." I'm not saying be heartless, you have to save those "kind times" for yourself and grow a thicker skin. Because, when it's all done and you go home and feel good about a workday, that's an achievement. genuinely good, I mean. No matter what job you have. Bowen is 100% right about the classic “SNL was better back in my day” sentiment. It really wasn’t, its simply that you remember the good and great sketches and forget about the rest. Also alot of stuff is funnier when you are a kid and when you grow up your standard for humor rises. SNL is on streaming services right now and i promise if you go back through different eras its the same as nowadays. Out of every 10 sketches there are maybe 3 that one finds funny and 1 hilarious one, and to be a fan of the show as a whole you have to have a respect and appreciation for the compressed timeframes and live nature of it. to come up with this amount of content and perform it live every week is extremely difficult and SNL does this at a professional level.
