I think he’s on to promote the podcast tho. The show chooses the guests, but I assume that 90% of them have to be doing PR tours, that’s become the economic value of nighttime talk shows. So I’m sure Seth would love that but the higher up’s would likely shut that down quick. My theory is that Seth is already picked as the next Lorne and won’t rock the boat too much. He could have up to 10 more years on late nite tho.

As a young man (which I am not, anymore), I worked at a Costco, and I’d drive over to the Best Buy all the time, because I loved immersing myself in the tech. Just the smell of it, and the joy of listening to speakers and looking at joysticks, and pondering routers.. It was amazing. The hardest part was being approached by the blue-shirt staff every ten seconds and being asked if I needed anything. I knew they meant well. I wasn’t in need of them.

I enjoyed Bowen & Ariana's duet. But the part that piqued my interest was earlier, when Ego Nwodim called Bowen's character "He is negro-divergent!" (Bowen cracked up like he didn't know that line was coming. Did they change it last minute?)

Ever since the episode when it aired, I watch that sketch at least twice a week, and that's putting it mildly. It is one of the most well put together and hilarious sketches from the past several seasons. You can tell how much fun Bowen and Ariana are genuinely having while performing it.

that Moulin Rouge sketch was mocking me, as usual! Go for it, SNL. My life gets meaning from being used as comedic fodder to be enjoyed as a bizarre scenario for the masses. The sketch used the term "medley", but I call them song smashes, and one of the earliest ones I came up with was in 2020, it is "One Day I'll Fly Away" (from Moulin Rouge) goes into "My Favorite Things" (from the Sound of Music). In that sketch, they made a medley of two songs from the same two musicals as i did. Btw, Bowen Yang is THE MAN.

In 2022 Jeff Beck did a show at the Woodlands TX and the stage is so cool, it's round and rotates slowly. The whole audience gets every angle of the band. So cool. So the audience is always behind you and all around you. Incredible set by the way if you like instrumental virtuoso guitar playing. Johnny Depp joins for the last songs, playing from their album together "18". 🕉
