From The Publisher: Cursed!? is a quick, solo, push your luck, fantasy themed game.
You have been cursed by a witch and the only way to get it lifted is to take on nearby monsters in the dark forest and gather some souls for the witch so she can complete her ritual and lift the curse on you.
The curse causes everything you touch to turn to ash so you have to use weapon and items you find on long dead adventurers. This means every weapon and item you get is random and you have to make the best of what you draw. Due to the push your luck nature of the game the items you can find are extremely powerful when used at opportune times and help mitigate a bad weapon draw or a monster with a nasty trait.

Ah nice try, perfect use of the smoke bomb too. Yeah there is for sure luck involved which is one of the reasons I kept the playtime down for that "just one more play" feel. I do hear from others it gets more consistent to win the more you play since you get a feel for how many of each weapon number is left when pushing yourself and using the items to save max cards is a must. As you said however there is luck in the name and as the designer I win maybe 80% of the time. I'm happy to answer any questions if anyone has them, thanks for giving it a go!

I picked this up on a whim when they ran their game crafter campaign and it's been really enjoyable. I recently took it traveling and played a bunch at the airport. I have won but at a maybe 10% rate. There is a lot of luck involved but you also have to be smart about item use. it's a really great little game though and certainly worth it's price and the room it takes up.
