For me, BOWERS & WILKINS 705 S3 is the best

1. B&W has a wonderful timbre, but the tone is shifted up and down. the strings are metal and you can hear it. 2. Kef - attraction. plastic. synthetic strings. dust in the eyes. 3. Monitor Audio is also an attraction 😢 the Kef but with better tonal balance than the B&W and a better timbre than the Kef. 4. Dynaudio is an excellent acoustic for the price. and most likely it is the cheapest in the test. It's unfair to rate the sound of din because they are the cheapest. and therefore worse. PS:!!! As always, the quality of the video and the sound are excellent. Thank you. We're still waiting.

To my surprise, I liked the B&W the most in this system... Thank you for watching!

Like B&W. Little bright, wonder of the new 705 s3 signature fixes that

The Dynaudio's are a nice speaker, but you can really hear the "lack" of detail in the female vocals on the Evoke 20 when you quickly AB to the Gold 100's or 705 s3. The new Gold 100 seems like a really nice speaker overall.

Agreed. In my opinion, Dynaudio turned out to be a challenging load for this amplifier. The Evoke 20 are great speakers, but not for this setup. Thanks for watching and for your comment!

The two sets of speakers placed further apart sounds thinner and with less focus. I suspect this is due to the placement and not so much the speakers themselves

No doubt plus just having extra speakers sitting there also affects everything although I am greatly appreciative of this demo. Years ago at the insistence of Julian vereker of Naim we would always only have one set of speakers in the room which was a lot of work but made for a more genuine audition. He was so full on about it that when we were doing a naim/Linn isobarik-lp12 demo in a large auditorium he made us remove tbe narrow pa speakers 80ft away on each side. I have no idea whether that made a difference but the system sounded great in that large hall

@@georgecav I was allowed to record this video in one of the showrooms, where there were at least 10 other pairs of speakers in the same room. Naturally, each driver influenced the sound of the system. Unfortunately, in this situation, I can’t make any adjustments to the system’s setup. Thank you for watching and for your comments!

@ that all makes sense and is understandable. At a time when its more difficult for me than ever to do listening comparos on diverse gear, what you are doing is great and appreciated. Eg Hans B is pretty interesting to listen to but the notion that what he prefers and in his judgement is ‘the best’ is likely to be the same for me or you is just dumb so ultimately even if listening to your yt clips can only communicate part of the story its still way ahead of the ‘talking heads’ of hifi…
