Have a set. To me the "sound" is right on. You can fit them well with little cones enclosed but it does take patience but worth it. Cable quality is improved to me in comparison to the previous C5s. Recommended.

did they improve the cable quality? that is the problem, not the sound quality or comfort but the construction. The poor cable quality causes you to lose audio completely in one year or less in one or both ears. I've gone through this once, had a warranty replacement, same thing. Just Caveat Emptor. for $200.00 you should get more than a few years worth of use. I will wait for others to comment regarding cable quality and durability before purchasing this product.

Linkmat97 they wipe the floor with them. Though the cable quality is pretty much the same. If you aren't super careful with both you'll have a cable you need to wiggle at the jack in less than a year.

jong lee these... Rha don't have the clarity these guys do. Although B&W do alter the sound slightly in all their audio stuff.

Sometimes these things costs less than $10 to produce but they sell it at $180, look at huawei earbuds costs just $15 and just as good as $100 sennheiser earbuds. Sometimes we are just paying for the brand itself than the actual product which to me, is like an exploitation.

That's because the companies producing the 200 versions have to pay the researchers and designers who dedicate their lives to designing these, while the cheaper brands simply steal those designs and use cheaper materials. Often they get sued

Meh. Nearly every (Head/ear)phone manufacturer have controls that were made for specifically for Apple. Android users still buy them because usually it's just the volume controls that don't work and it's rare to find some good headphones with controls made for Android.

why not ? they have cable so your phone it's close to skip a song... I can get it if it's wireless but with wires I don't need these buttons to make them heavy

I hate the fit of these :( I couldn't get them to fit in any way so I went back to bose which even sounded better.

Can the loop part be taken off these, in the review it looks like the wire slots into the side of the ear bud to make the loop but is this fixed or can it be removed?

Sadly no. It looks like it, but not without damaging the cable.

nathan jones Also the loop part is harder so it would keep the curve which would suck. It's sad really, these are very good sounding iem's.

leksasdf Just bought them today at the recommendation of the store salesman. While the sound is truly impressive when I hold them tight against my ear, I can not get the headset to stay on tightly on its own. Gonna have to take them back to get different ones. I'm pretty sure the issue here is my ear and not so much the headset. So disappointing.

MrSupernova111 Bet you didn't get better ones? Since my comment, I swapped them with Sennheiser airlock tips and the hard parts around the earpiece went softer, which eased the fit. Since then I've been very happy with them. The cable did short though, might have bent it, not sure. Would actually get the new version. Also, the sound gets better with patient burn in.
