Considering to pick these up, they're only 40€ in some shops in Germany now. Is that a killer deal or they not hold up so well anymore after 2 years?

+Draftgon killer deal. I paid 90$ for a pair second hand and they sound great. Only downside is the isolation isn't perfect, and they aren't comfortable for more than an hour an a half. But all in all, for 40$, pick up a pair for sure!

1-Star Rating. Decent sounding headphones, TERRIBLE construction. I have had two B&W P3s, and BOTH of them had the same problem: the design of the spot where the earphones wires attach to the headband is AWFUL!!! 1. the wires do not attach deeply into the headband; and 2. the metal that is supposed to hold the headphone attached is WEAK,; it eventually loosens up and the wire attachments fall out. It happened to me twice. NEVER BUY THESE; You're asking for frustration and aggravation. For $200 they should be better constructed.

Dreadful headphones, such a tinny sound, bought a pair recently and returned them after a couple of days. Shockingly poor sound for over £100, I found them okay listening to country music but for rock music these are a big no no, bass is seriously lacking. I bought a pair of AKG Y50's instead.. absolutely stunning sound for all types of music
