Great Headphones, got mine a few days ago and I’m loving them. The sound is great, the design and build quality is amazing, easy and good app for EQ. The ANC works pretty good, it’s not the best one out there but does the job and is enough for me. I recommend these!

There was quality issues with the headband of last gen idk if they fixed em plus seems like it still doesn’t have spatial audio

Hey Shaad, Great review. I've been on the fence now for a few days but your video kind of made me lean towards S2e's. At that price point there are so many good choices. The question I have Shaad is about the noise canceling. I live in a somewhat noisy environment. On a scale of 1 to 10 what would you rate the quietness on these? And if it's a low number what else would you suggest for the best noise canceling? Should I go XM5, Bose Quite Comfort or any others you can suggest. I also welcome others that my have suggestions. I just got these... And I like the tuning better than the Bathys and better than the PX8 (Softer) ...My Only Gripe is that Gold band around the Earcup ... Silver would have been more to my liking... These are what I grab now on my day to day...

I can get the Px7 S2e for around $289 right now. The quietcomfort ultras are $379 currently so with that being said i assume ot would be better to save and go with the S2e?

Everyone’s ears are different of course but if price is a factor then you’re getting a great value in the s2e at 289

any ear heat issues? heard they start to heat up after about an hour to 2 and need to take them off. I also after years of headphones have gotten sensitive to clamp force so get headaches easily. Since you ( seem like ) a glasses user, whats your opinion with the S2e with glasses? any other clamp issues?

I haven’t experienced any ear heat issues. I’ve been wearing these exclusively for work about a month now and in terms of wear I have no complaints at all. Not too heavy on my head or bad clamp force. And I’ve also have no issue with wear and my glasses. I go a good few hours a day with them on Mon-Fri but take that with a grain of salt.

I have the sony xm3s and looking for an upgrade, I'm thinking either these or either of the two new bose headphones. What is the noise cancelling like in public and on commutes etc?

I have the new S2e and own the Sony Xm3 too Sound a little bit better on B&w, more detail but more analitics.. Could be a little harsh on treble after some long session.. But they are new, I suppose they need some days of playing for burn in the drivers. It's like CD vs vinyl.. B&w are the cd, Sony are Vinyl.. Xm3 has a sound more natural maybe, but less dinamic.. But are all subtle differences Don't sell your Sony even if you bought a new one... I tried many headphone, and I assure you that Xm3 are the best from Sony.. Xm4 are good enough but a bit too much bass( but better voice call quality and functions), indeed XM5 are the worst... Sound without energy... The comfort of XM5 is excellent and the anc too, even the call quality But poor sound B&w px7 s2e, after only 2 days, are very good to 360°, and I hope they will improve day after day But if you look mainly for a good anc, keep your Sony Xm3 because are fantastic "all round" headphone

I've had my xm3 for 4 years and upgraded to the Px7 s2e. I wanted an upgrade because I was missing clarity and detail as I also own the Beyerdynamic dt 1990 and I was not disappointed. The bass is good but maybe a little more restrained than the sony but much more precise and not as muddy as the sony. I love the xm3 but I just fell in love with the px 7 s2e.

have a feeel of new bose products, they just dont feel like the value foe money is there despite the spec sheet. these feel incredible and sound is next level, and i beleive the APP is where it makes alot of diff also @@Jd89h

I’m certainly not an audiophile and owned both the xm5 and AirPods Max over a year ago so it’s difficult to compare in further detail.

I owned XM5 (and Xm4 and Xm3) and XM5 are absolutely the worst in theme of sound...great comfort and great anc and call quality... But Xm4 and Xm3 have the best audio I bought B&w px7 s2e two days ago, and sounds great! Not another league compared to Sony Xm3 and Xm4, but a little bit better as soundstage, detail, dynamics... Good anc and transparency too, good call quality But if you look mainly for the best anc, Sony it's still the king Even about comfort better Sony for me

Listening to the XM3 compared to the S2e using a high resolution streaming service (I'm using Tidal) the difference is very big. Much more detail, clarity and better soundstage on the S2e. Comfort is a bit better on the XM3, but for me the big step up in sound is 100% worth it. Noice cancelling is also good. Not as good as XM5 and probably not as good as the new Quietcomfort Ultra from Bose, but still very good.

​@@trygvemkcan only agree with this 100% the Px 7 s2e are probably the only true hi-fi headphones. I don't know the Px 7 s2 but they are probably almost as good and better than sony bose and senheiser.

I had the s2 but bass was really poor and clamping force too much. also tried xm5 but sound was too muddy. settled on momentum 4 sound blows both out of the water in terms of clarity sound stage and bass, are the se significantly better sound and bass than s2? will try out when local hifi shop gets them. feel bowers have done over s2 holders as far as I know the se are exactly the same but have a firmeware update? I think my next set will be beoplay h95 or focal bathys if theres a good black friday deal on.

I had the M4's but returned them after trying the PX7 S2e. For me the comfort is better on the S2e while also sounding more open and having more cIarity. I would say the M4's had more bass than the S2e, but the base of the S2e goes deeper and sounds better.
