I've listened to this video and many others using my PX8's connected to my S22 Ultra, my Pixel 6 Pro, and my Samsung Tab S8 Ultra, and I've never had any noticeable audio sync issues. The audio sync in Floss's video was terrible, so something had to be wrong. Either a bad connection, or an issue with his specific PX8.

@Electro He's referring to audiophile brands like Focal, Auduze, Hifiman, and Sennheiser's higher-end products that emphasize sound quality over a wired connection above all else. They truly are a different segment from the bluetooth ANC headphones. What these, and their closest competitors the Focal Bathys and Mark Levinson No 5909s, try to fo is Bridge that gap between the audiophile headphones and the consumer ANC stuff. Also, as the technology currently stands, you can't have a single ANC headphone that is god tier in all areas. Mainly because really strong ANC degrades sound quality (unrealistically increasing the bass and reducing the sound stage). To sum it up, the Sonys, Boses, and Apples of the world can't compare to the PX8, Bathys, and 5909s in pure sound quality and latter can't compare to the former in ANC.

I bought a pair of these a few weeks ago and I believe they fixed the delay maybe that was with initial update I installed. I love these headphones. I wanted to get the B&O H95 but I’ve been Bowers and Wilkins lover for almost 10 years and I was using the original P7’s. I love these headphones and I don’t regret spending the bread on these.

I just bought mine via Amazon and they are just beautiful and the quality sounds is great, however I am now overwhelmed due to the big amount negative reviews and experiences from customers in different blogs, video reviews and Amazon reviews: essentially the headband and the ear pads started peeling off and/or the glue coming out just after 3 months of usage, and the majority did not last a year. How has it been for you so far and how long have you had them? I hope you can help me, thx 🙏🏽

@ yeah I’m currently going through this for the second time. It sucks because I love the headphones but these are not made for everyday use AT ALL. But they have replaced them for me twice which is crazy. Idk why they thought gluing the leather to the headband the way did was smart because it’s not. I hope they really do something about this.

Floss, I know this is the wrong video to post on but I don't know how far back you look when it comes to your comments so I decided to post this on your latest video. You're the one that got me to buy a Z Fold 4, and I noticed that there's a case for this phone that you did not review as I don't even know that you know that it exists... and all I can say is is if you don't have this case for your fold I don't know what you're doing with your life as they say.. everything from lippage to making it slam boy certified, to an S pen holder that is quite ergonomic, a standard but still built in kickstand, back camera protection.. covers over the buttons that work like gold... and as you say buttons cutouts buttons cutouts all perfectly aligned... and while some cases might make it a little bit difficult for you to plug a charger cord into not this one and it's wireless charging enable. Corner bumper protectuon... oh and did I mention that it's not really bulky... if you trying to figure this one out I can send you the link to where I got it as well as some pictures but yeah if you need that link I'll send you the link because this is a case you may want to review and it may wind up being part of your everyday carry... oh and I forgot to mention it's cheaper than a presidio case

Love the premium materials and the physical buttons (a completely underrated feature) but the delay when watching videos is disqualifying for me. At any price. For $700 they should be able to handle all of the features that $300 headphones can do. Such a shame. I'm still using the Bose 700's for the god tier noise cancelling. While other headphones out now definitely sound better, it's not enough to get me to switch yet. I'm waiting for the next headphones that are truly a generational leap forward.

Bro, just got my hands on the px8, never had those latency issues. Also for those having wearing detection issues do some calibration before use. I switch off and on the power button and those wear detection in the app while holding the headphones on the hand for at least 30s then put it on the head. Keep repeating this for 10m. After that, it should work great. I even had it on normal mode not low👍

Ordered the McLarens. I tried the PX7s in Dubai and I couldn't hear myself clapping. Px-8s with that CF driver will be epic, I have an LG V30 with one of the best DACs in a phone, period. So I can't wait to try aptx vs line in. Not bad for an old flagship. Most users who are picky don't have delay, so I'm wondering if it's software related. E.g. EQ etc on an old software or firmware version.

I bought these and I have had them for about a month. The best bass response is if you turn off the active noise cancellation off and turn the bass to a 6DB. I'm still on the fence about these headphones.

NEVER! It doesn’t matter how much it costs, $700 or $99. B&W have the worst customer experience! I’ve had 2 of their products and if the product needs to be replaced, they replace it with used parts. When I received their replacement products it was obvious and easy to see inconsistency in quality. Didn’t expect this service for their “premium” product.

This might only be an issue with his specific unit, because I've never had audio sync issues with my PX8. Either that, or it was just a bad connection that might've been fixed by power cycling both the headphones and the phone.

Disagree so massively! compared to 1000 dollar headphones with not so much improvements. BOWERS & WILKINS PX8 are perfect for outdoors, especially during wintertimes with isolation and battery life is decent compared to so many overpriced headset out there.

@Moses Moses That’s what I’ve come across as well, Focals have a open all around sound supposedly, while Bowers are more personal, really kinda up in your face style of listening. I’ve have the bowers for about a month now, I’ve opened them up with hours of listening different genres of music, I love them. I’ve owned the Sony flagship noise canceling prior. Bowers wins in pure sound! I’m no Audiophile in any sense, just have an ear for what sounds good!

I love these because of its classic look but definetly I'll not pay this price for only the look and build quality. I've the old PX but it broke I was thinking to substitute it with PX8, but at this price if it's not the best in every aspect, sorry B&W will consider something else! I may go with "Sennheiser Momentum 4"

I have the PX7s i wonder how much of a difference in sound is it compared to the px8s Also I had to turn off the apt X in the Bluetooth settings for the phone to stop the delay in videos on my Px7s and also another pair of my Yamaha e700a... For some reason the that aptx setting was giving me major delay in my videos until I turned it off

I've owned the PX7 since 2020, and bought the PX8 about 5 weeks ago. The PX7 doesn't compare. The only area where the PX7 might be slighly better is in soundstage width.

I'd manually set the codec in dev settings to aptx adaptive not aptx hd for watching videos. Aptx hd for music. Aptx adaptive for videos.
