I just want to say: today was a crappy one for me. I got turned for a job that I was looking forward to. When I got home home I decided to load my kayak and hit the river. So I did. The wind was crazy. I couldn't keep the kayak in position. I couldn't put the bait where it need to be. I finally get a bite from a snakehead which may have been bigger than my p.b. the line gets hung up on a log and I get broken off. 20 pound braid, snapped. I lose my last chatterbait. I dont get another bite. Just a bad day. I wanna say this though. I watched your video and it was like a battery. I jump in truck, headed over to the tackle shop and bought more chatterbaits and decide tomorrow morning I'm going hit the river even harder. Thank you. Your videos have always been inspiring and today I really needed it. If you're ever snakehead fishing in Maryland, go with the chatterbait it's the cats meow.

Frying fresh fish filet is...let's say the third best choice. Slow steaming is much better (or smoke it, if you can. And you can with a wok and some beech saw dust on each normal stove). And making a sauce out of dips from a glass - no go! Take the fish fond (from steaming the fish), some fresh butter and flavour, stone salt, black pepper, garlic and oregano. That makes a nice sauce.

Rob....I have enjoyed your video's so much...I used to spend a bit of time down at Jupiter inlet with a fellow that ran a dive boat offshore called Barnacle Bill's. He worked for Ma Bell I.E. the telephone company at the time and ran his dive service on his days off. All others cancelled on us due to weather,but he took us offshore once anyway, was it wise I do not know. I was young and invincible..RIGHT :) as we had driven from North Florida to spend the weekend diving I was only 17 or 18 years old...I am now 59 YO...I no longer make that trip although I still dive. I have more time to plan now..You kept me captivated at first....now you are more into your trips and slower to post. This is your Very Successful Channel..not mine. I do not have one nor plan to.It seems I see something going on with you that happened with me years ago..the more successful I became the less I paid attention to my friends and such,well they hung around and eventually when I became available I would get in touch with them...time went by and THEY became less accessible....Well I dug down deep and figured out the problem. They enjoyed my company ,but it was now at my own discretion as to when I would bless them with my company. Well they did not need me anymore..it was now up to them to get back to me...please do not let us down as loyal suscribers. We want videos like you used to put your heart into not one here and there....YOU were and still are part of my daily routine of checking you out before others. I have been getting more and more disappointed at longer times between vids. I am only one PERSON.You make a good living and you are a fine talented young man with a great Family !! I know you eclipse Deer Mom. I feel you are trying to open up the viewship to your Beautiful wife Sara, slowly so her channel can grow. Either combine Deer Meat with Deer Mom I see you have done a bit of that. But step up the vids :) I know you have ample income from many sources besides your channel. Raise the bar again Young Man !! I am by no means biased because of Deer Mom, but men want to relive those days of seeing other Men doing what We used to do compared to what you do now. You make that possible for us..well me anyway. My wife and I are moving to South Florida this summer; and although I've hunted and fished much of my life here in Ohio, I've never fished salt water. I enjoy your channel and am learning. One of the reasons for our move is my spinal cord injury that I got last year in a cycling accident (quadriplegic). The cold winter is horrible! I'm anxious to get down there and feel the Florida sun, smell the salt water, and learn how to catch open water dinner for my wife! Hopefully see you on (or in) the water!
