True, it's a invasive species. Here's the thing people from all over the US travel to south Florida to catch them. They book airline flights, hotels, rent cars & pay guides. These fish are not damaging the bass fishery. Klownknife is one of the finest fighting fish in South Florida. I realize the Fwc classification is invasive, you go on and hang your hats on that. The most invasive thing I see is few ignorant Texans.

These are going to wind up being treated like peacock bass because of this video. These are a sought after gamefish down there. Sad to see them slaughtered like this. Nice disclaimer at the beginning 🙄
@UnGuidedOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Peacock bass were placed to help control the cichlid population, read up on it. Clown fish don’t serve a purpose, call the FWC and talk with them about it, we did and they said it wasn’t going to be treated as a game fish. Now in the event that they are ruled as a game fish we will 100% abide by the law and follow whatever laws are in place. Also, we was contacted by some individuals in Hawaii that apparently have had clown knife fish in certain bodies of water as well. Their native species have been decimated, as in largemouth are nearly non existent in those certain waters. Now I can’t verify that I can only tell you what those certain people said and they are looking for effective ways to remove the fish, that’s why we was contacted was for advice.
@jeremiahhayes45443 жыл бұрын
Well we sought after them as invasives 🤣
@csmithfishing43803 жыл бұрын
I hope you realize that us down here in south florida we consider these a gamefish and you are literally taking out of our charter guys checks who make a living getting people on these fish absolutely disgusting.
@donovanremp793 жыл бұрын
Who?
@cowboybowfishingoutdoors50133 жыл бұрын
Well they are not gamefish and are considered an invasive species and it is not against the law and you do realize there are a lot of people including Bowfishing charters that shoot them in Florida and this could bring more money into the community from the Bowfishing community and those whom travel there as well. Just saying
