My arrow chattered just like that when I drew back on my first archery deer two days ago. I can still picture the buck in my sights and fighting my bubble like I was in a damn earthquake. Months of prep just flew over the top of the buck. Buck Fever is no joke. I did manage to tag out and have an awesome experience. Congrats on your amazing buck. That’s a dandy.

Congratulations on your deer! Buck fever is definitely real haha I think not eating or drinking for 4 or 5 hours played into it too.

Favorite part was how you kept pushing and dropping and then gaining elevation to get into the deer that’s awesome effort you put in and makes the victory that much sweeter!

Great job in that tough terrain! Doing it by yourself makes it even tougher, especially after a week of glassing and stalking. Good buck
