I shoot a nice buck off a scrape with about 15 other bucks. Then put eyes on a buck that will get my full attention..

Love your work mate what's a good bow for me to start out on looking at the bear species ?
@huntlife7867 Жыл бұрын
The best thing you can do is probably go shoot a few mate. I have shot the Hoyt torex. And have a mate using one and there a pretty good entry level set up.

Loving the content mate, from someone who has just got his first bow and want to get into hunting in Victoria. Your content is getting me bloody keen!! Any tips?

I am the same mate. Started shooting bows last year but only looked at hunting this year. Really keen to get out amongst it. Just gotta find some secret wonderlands full of deer.

Biggest tip I can give you maté is practice heaps. Set yourself some boundaries for shot distances and stick by them. Trust me after today I need to listen to my own advice.
@kgage88 Жыл бұрын
Good advice. Currently I would take a shot at 20mtrs with my eyes closed, 30 with confidence, 40 I would for smaller game (fox and rabbit) but not a deer yet. What state are you in mate? I am also in Vic. You shoot private property mainly don't you? Basing this on the fences etc. In some of your earlier pig shoot videos.
