Oh Wow that is really the best live Rebel Rebel ever for me. Its effervescent and the soundboard is beaut quality. I love that guitar tone/effect, its beautiful, i wonder if its Heydon, but its sounds more Slicky i guess? Thanks MT mate, this is superb, the best for me i love it.

It is Stacy Heydon on guitar. I'm a huge fan of Slick but Heydon did a great job 🎸😊👍

@@heavymeddle28 Oh ok thanks. I just wasnt sure what extent of shows they both did with him in 76. Of course Heydon was huge on the Nassau 76 album, but i wonder maybe Slick replaced Heydon? Well, i appreciate that reply thanks.

@@heavymeddle28 I know that Slicky was on Young Americans and the Station album, im unsure about where Heydon came along, maybe just part of a Nth American tour or all of it if Slick was unavailable.

@@dannymiles6503 oh, thank you. I'm always happy to talk some Bowie. Especially 74-76. My favourite era. I really don't know when Slick came in. I'm not sure but wasn't he with Bowie from the start on the diamond dogs tour and Carlos Alomar on rhythm guitar? Nevermind... Bowie always seemed to find the right musicians for the right albums /tours. Maybe I'm way off here, but didn't Bowie play guitar himself on the studio album, diamond dogs? His sound fits a bit with slicks live playing. Man, so much great music I think young people don't really seem to know about these days 😊

@@dannymiles6503 and another guitarist that I tend to have overlooked is Adrian Belew. I'm 50 and has been a huge fan of Bowie since my brother and sister played him when I was just a kid. But I discovered Belew not long ago where he plays "stay" live 78. He really had a great sound. I'm not a musician myself so I can only like what I like, if that makes sense 😅? I still to this day find the man who sold the world - Station to station something extra. Love the Berlin trilogy plus scary monsters but I think his heavy cocaine period was the best. Like a completely different artist than after let's dance. Very nice to chat with you 😊
