Defensive upgrades, especially in the secondary, are obviously gonna be huge points of emphasis this offseason. @@sullyproductions5757 I mean that could happen IRL too... IMO I'm glad that variance exists within the system. I look at W&T as the eventual replacement of the injury system. Sometimes one hit is all it takes. One thing they absolutely need to do is introduce systems to make it easier to manage W&T. For one, it would be nice if there was a screen where I can view all of the current W&T effects without manually going to each player to see. We also need the ability to automate subbing based on W&T effects similar to how auto subs works for fatigue.

Absolutely baffling decisions made all game. I like a cheeky trick play as much as anyone, but calling that fake FG (a bootleg to the right) with a left-handed QB isn't going to work 9 times out of 10. Leaving Colson in the game when he clearly couldn't make the throws he normally does was a mistake. There's no sugarcoating it-- this game was lost by the guy behind the sticks. In the portal, look to shore up the receiving corps and the secondary. The lack of speed in your DBs was an obvious pain point all season, and it's time to upgrade from Austin Harris at WR2-- his caps are prohibitively bad, and his size and physicality didn't play up well enough to justify keeping him on the field. Unless the guys in waiting (Pollard, Weatherspoon, Trejo, Proche) take a big leap, you're going to want help from at least one transfer. Consider a scheme change on defense, as well. Not sure if you'll be able to land Dave Grubb at DC, but you'll notice that his preferred scheme is base 3-4, and you've got a great prototypical run-stuffing NT in Fuimaono, while Riser-Pressley should still be able to generate pressure from the edge as an OLB. All in all, though-- not a bad season, despite the lack of a bowl or a conference title, and we're about to get into the best part of CFB25-- the offseason. Looking forward to Year 5.
